I MARRIED JOAN

This show has been a big seller on the pirated DVD sites for years, but the lack of episodes and poor quality of the discs has been disappointing to many would-be buyers.

A remastered collection of this show, with all 100+ episodes, would be a fantastic release opportunity for Shout!, especially because of its close relation to I Love Lucy. Will we ever see this classic released?

RE: I MARRIED JOAN
There are so many shows from the 1950s I'd like, including "My Little Margie," "Our Miss Brooks," "December Bride," etc.

As for "I Married Joan," I wonder who has the rights.  Joan Davis herself owned it, and when she suddenly died in 1961, I guess her only daughter inherited it -- but two years later, her mother, daughter and two grandsons were killed in a fire.  (Although Joan Davis died tragically young, it's lucky she didn't live to suffer through that!)

Her son-in-law was out of town on business.  I guess he wound up with the rights.  But whatever the situation, I doubt there's much demand for these old series any more, which only a small percentage of the population cares about.  I'm just glad I can watch several episodes on the Internet.

I would love to buy a complete series of I Married Joan. Especially since what's currently available is only about half of the series.

This is a great show. I've seen only a few episodes and laughed my head off. Joan is extremely funny and talented!

Great show!  Used to see it on CBN back in the 1980's.  I'd love to see the whole series on DVD.  Somebody put out a couple of sets with a total of 24 episodes several years ago.  It was nice to have, but the closing credits were edited.  The announcer's listing of the guest cast was omitted.
