"Happy Days" --- Seasons 5-11
"Happy Days" is one of America's longest running sitcoms.  Paramount has only released 4 seasons and has no plans to release more in the near future.  I think it would be great if Shout! Factory bought the rights from Paramount and releases the remaining 7 seasons.  There is still a big fanbase that wants this show on DVD, so I'm sure it will sell well. :)

Paramount's a toughie.  They're not keen on licensing out to third parties.  We've tried several times.  If they truly have no interest in releasing the remainder of the seasons, I don't see this series being completed anytime in the near future, I'm afraid.

Fingers crossed that I'm wrong.

I'd love to see the rest of Happy Days as well, but right now my main concern is the final season of Mork & Mindy.  Well everyone used to say Warner Bros wouldn't license their shows out, but thankfully Max Headroom is coming thanks to Shout .

Please bring "Starman" the 1986-87 tv series, Silver Spoons seasons 2 & beyond and Jennifer Slept Here to DVD.

The difference is that Paramount actually does something with their library as opposed to Warner Brothers who just sits on theirs. That's why they finally agreed to license out a couple of shows.

@bencasey, they do something with theirs, but in a half-baked manner (replacing all the music?  Pretending Paramount Television didn't exist -- the CBS Television logo appears at the end of all the shows)  So I'd be for Shout! "freeing" the PTV library, as they usually don't fool around with the content.

I'd love to see at least another season or two of this landmark show and one of the most popular in tv history.  How can a show that was so big have been treated so poorly?

Happy Days is coming back to TV! On October 10, the Discovery Kids channel is becoming The Hub Network, and they have acquired Happy Days, along with Laverne And Shirley, Batman, Family Ties, and The Wonder Years. Happy Days starts airing on the 11th, Monday night, from 10-11.
