I'd vote for this Bill Bixby series getting a DVD release. Only ran one season (22 eps), but it had a clever premise; a detective who uses his training in magic to solve crimes.
Always loved this too and a DVD would be awesome, the last totally Bixby cult show not available. It's Paramount btw and they have a fine history of classics on DVD, one or two releases here and they're done, fans happy and they never have to deal with it ever again probably. Let's do it! "No...that's impossible...".
I remember "The Magician". It ran for one season (maybe not even that long) when I was 7. I would describe it however more as, "A magician uses his craft to help solve crimes and right wrongs". In any event, if Shout released this, I'd get it!!! CKB.
