If anyone is interested in getting more seasons of Warner Bros. shows that have stalled or haven't been released at all, be sure to suggest your favorite series tonight on the Warner Home Video Live Chat on the HOME THEATER FORUM!

"Growing Pains", "Mama's Family", "Alice", and "CHiPs" fans should definitely make a showing here...all of these have had a release of early seasons (or in "Alice"'s case, a 'Best of' disc), but didn't get to continue into their later (usually better) seasons.  The chat runs from 8-11PM EST/5-8PM PT this evening (4/5/10).

I am thinking of suggesting at least a couple of these, and giving them a rather direct hint that if they don't plan to finish them, maybe they could offer them to Shout! Factory, or at least on Amazon's Manufacture-on-Demand service.  

My wish list includes: Knots Landing (seasons 3-14), The Herculoids, Moby Dick/The Mighty Mightor, and Space Stars!

"Growing Pains" is really the only one of any of these to get any good news...looks like there MAY be a season two release in 2011.  There are technical problems with the masters for "Alice", but they are being looked at and Warner said they want to release it when they are able...it isn't being held up for lack of desire by fans.  "Mama's Family" is also being evaluated, but is not planned currently.  "CHiPs" isn't even being considered at this point.  And, Preppy, I'm sorry to break the news..."Knot's Landing" is also not being considered at this time.  ;.( 

Well I guess they won't be releasing any more Cheyenne, Superboy, or anything else I would want from them when it comes to classic tv.
