Is there a chance that Shout! could release the rest of this series? Please :)

RE: Newhart

While I was a big fan of the later seasons especially the series finale, I would like to see "Newhart" continue.

RE: Fox should license "Newhart" to Shout! Factory
Even with the latest news of Fox possibly releasing the final two seasons of The Bob Newhart Show, I doubt they will release the remaining seven seasons of Newhart. I just don't understand why classic TV doesn't make a killing in sales; is it lack of promotion, high prices, not enough buyers compared to TV on DVD from today, what? Newhart most recently aired on WGN America, but no longer does due to the station removing their classic Sunday night block. Hopefully, Shout! will be offered this gem and jump on the idea of more seasons. Bob Newhart himself seems very willing to do any kind of promoting for his TV hits, and if I were him, I would be very proud, too. For me, Newhart was always a mix of The Bob Newhart Show and Green Acres, with the latter still needing more releases. Plus, Julia Duffy made her debut in season 2; I find her funnier than the maid in the first season. And, who doesn't want to see the infamous series finale, which stems back to TBNS, on DVD?

The funnier seasons of this show were def the later seasons of it.  Ive seen the 1st season and I thought it was rather weak.  Some of the popular characters havent debuted yet or dont get enough air time.  Love the show though.  Maybe down the road it will get a season or two more of it released but all 7 remaining seasons Im not sure about.
