Maybe a third party like Shout could more easily cut a limited deal for all involved to get these much anticipated classics out on DVD? |

It would be great if "shout!" was able to get the shows and I would like to own these on HD Blu-Ray!

The powers-that-be have been in touch with us at TVShowsOnDVD.com (for longer than you might think  ), and have quizzed us at times about what fans are looking for to make these the best DVD releases possible. I can vouch for the fact that mega-fans have been recruited to give feedback directly to the people who will be doing SMDM. And I've spoken (off-the-record) to a person rather close to with the BW project, about some of what that team has up their sleeves.
As a huge fan of the two Bionic series, I'm rather convinced that fans will end up very satisfied with the results of these releases. I can't vouch for "perfection" (someone is always bound to be disappointed somewhere, for some reason, after all), but I am extremely excited about what I've heard so far!! I can't say more than that right now, so please don't ask. |

As the BD market continues to grow, it will probably be revisited on Blu in time to come. But TV-BD sales just aren't convincing enough yet for many studios, even with big properties such as the Bionic shows. |

No plans have been announced for the DVD release of "The Six Million Dollar Man" television series. A multitude of factors, including contractual issues, influence the timing and content of our DVD releases. Unfortunately, no further information is available at this time.

And, as I said in my story at TVShowsOnDVD, one or both series might possibly end up getting released under the Time-Life label, rather than Universal's label. And, as I ALSO said in my write-up, no contracts are officially signed yet, so there's nothing for Uni's customer service agents to tell you at this time. |

I hope that Universal produces high quality work on this one and gives the fans a remastered set. There is yet to be an official announcement on The Six Million Dollar Man, however, sources believe the first set will likely be released in October too. |
