Anyone also interested in ALL IN THE FAMILY (seasons 7-9) and MAUDE (seasons 2-6)? |

But with the 4th seasons of Facts of Life and Mad About You set for release from Shout, Sony should go ahead and license Barney Miller as well. I know Sony released Season 3 last year, but I haven't heard about Sony having about any plans to release any more seasons. Although the majority of the show was broadcast before I was born, I used to watch the show every night in reruns when I was a kid and it's still one of my favorite shows today. Let's see what Brian Ward has to say about the rest of the show being released. |

Member since: 12/21/2009 | | RE: Barney Miller season 4 | It's taken (what feels like) forever for just the first 3 seasons to come out for Barney Miller, and that's a shame because while I thought they did a decent job on Season 1, they did an outstanding job on Season 2 and (especially) Season 3 - the quality of the transfer is excellent - and someone even put enough thought in to the Season 3 release to spread all 22 episodes evenly across the 3 DVDs.
I was really hoping they'd have released at least Season 4 by now.

This year, Sony is more USELESS, because they haven't released a classic TV release in months!
Sony wants to wait another 4 years, the way fans did for season 2!
Barney Miller, and other classic shows from are going to rot in their vault, if Shout! Factory doesn't do something about their lack of respect for consumers!
Please release Barney Miller Seasons 4-8!
