The Chronicle
Under appreciated by SciFi, put on double secret cancellation because one of the execs thought "there was no place in scifi for comedy" and left on a cliffhanger because they were TOLD they were getting picked up when the decision to cancel was already set.

(can you spot "The Chronicle" reference in Jake 2.0??)

a 'one and done' release that IS appreciated by a lot of folks, contemporary to "The Invisible Man" (oh and IIRC was shot widescreen just like "The Invisible Man")

RE: The Chronicle
And a writer for Jake 2.0.   And from the Silvio Horta, the man who helped bring Ugly Betty to our screens.
