While I do love it, I am the minority that favors the last 3 seasons of this show over the first four. Hopefully, Shout will release all the seasons, even if only Manfacture-on-Demand for seasons 6 and 7. Those who dismissed the post-Delta years when this show was on the air should really revisit them again. They are light years ahead of all the crappy sitcoms that have come out since. |

I will buy every single season. The post Burke years can be hard for some to watch, but there is a lot of talent still on the show and added. Julia Duffy, Jan Hooks and Judith Ivey are all great. I hope for all seasons to be released. |

Any chance that there will be a release for the spinoff series WOMAN OF THE HOUSE? As I recall, it featured Delta Burke as Susanne recently widowed in DC, taking her husband's seat in the House of Reps,.

I just heard also over on CNN's webpage. SO Sad. Her character of Julia Sugarbaker, will be her best remembered. You can tell she loved doing Designing Women, in interviews she took the show ending as badly as anyone. She loved the show you could just sense it.
Heres to season 4 hopefully coming soon. :-)

I guess it depends on just how well the Designing Women sets sell, as I'm sure there would be a significant drop in popularity for the spin-off. So, if we think enough people will follow over from DW, maybe it's something to consider.

Seems a mgr at Barnes and Noble told me they have it in their system as releasing on Sept 28th, however their website says Sept 21st.
Yet Amazon.com has it listed as Sept 14th While Best Buy has it listed as Sept 21st.
IS there anyway to get the release dates straightened out with the retailers? I would love to walk into a store Tuesday 14th and pick up Season 4... right now it looks like it isn't happening.

CBS did this with the Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Show (Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour in syndication). They referred to them as extra seasons of I Love Lucy even though they were a separate series.
This could work with other shows as well where there was a follow-up series. |

Really excited for season 4. Also went ahead an ordered StarCrash on Blu-Ray also since those Corman blus are hard to find in stores.
Also getting Season one of Twilight Zone on Blu that day also... I am glad I took the day off! :-) |
