Member since: 2/28/2010 | | The Real McCoys | | I know the first few seasions were put out sometime ago by the Falcon Picture Group. Although they promised all 6 Seasons, only 3 were released. No doubt because of poor sales they tossed in the towel.
I truly believe the weak sales were because they used so-so transfers originally made for the run on the old Nashville cable station. Worse yet, and the reason I believe sales were not good is they used cut, syndicated versions with about 4 minutes missing from every episode, with the exception of the initial episode, which was properly at 26 minutes.
I realize SHOUT can't pay for a complete retransfer of the entire 6 seasons, but if the owners of the series ever do an archival restoration of the series from complete prints, I hope SHOUT can step in and pick up this marvelous series.

Preorder on Amazon, this title is highly unlikely to be in stores like Wal-Mart, it never was before!
