| Sony has released all 8 seasons of Bewitched in separate season releases with barely an original extras except for the Elizabeth Montgomery intro and closing to the "Sisters at Heart" episode with the "Be Right Back" bumper and Season Eight having the Elizabeth Montgomery intros and the bumper on all episodes. But there is SO much more!!
Practically every season had sponsor openings and end credits, there were lots of cast commercials, lots of ABC promos, and rare talk show appearances and game show appearances and more.
•Emmy clip of “Sisters at Heart” receiving the Governor’s Award.
•Emmy clip of when William Asher, Marion Lorne, and Alice Pearce won.
•EM’s RARE interview on the Merv Griffin show speaking about “Sisters at Heart”.
•Newsreels from the local Mass. News from when the cast and crew were in Salem to film.
•The TV Land dedication of the Samantha statue in Salem.
•The episode of “FANatical” devoted to Bewitched when they filmed at the ’06 Bewitched convention.
•EM's Japanese commercials she did in the 80s where she twitches her nose and does other magical things.
Bewitched is such an icon in TV history and deserves to have the episodes restored with their openings plus have all the extras in a big series set. I don't believe Sony will do such a thing, but seems like Shout! is just the people we need to do so...can it be done? Even if it is just a release of the extras themselves?
I know people that have the original elements but believe Sony may have them too. |
