Member since: 5/7/2008 | | Cheap Seats, any chance for a DVD release? | Mr. Ward, I was wondering if there was any chance that ESPN Classic's Cheap Seats with the Sklar Brothers would ever be released on DVD? The show was hilarious and canceled just as it really hit its stride. There's certainly a lot of cross-over fandom from MST3K fans on that one and as you know they even payed homage to MST3K on the show with an appearance by Mike and the 'Bots. Thanks!

- Snow vs. Sand
- Any spelling bee episode, especially the one with Rebecca S (the kid that covers her mouth after she says every letter)
- Creative Breaking (with MST3K guest appearance)
- Kid's Putt-Putt

I would love to see some kind of commercial release, but I would think there is no way they could get DVD rights for all those sports, plus evil Disney/Buena Vista or whatever own ABC and ESPN, so I'm guessing they would be the ones that would release a DVD of these. So, I fear these will never see the light of day outside of re-broadcasts on ESPN Classic, which I can't get for free anymore thanks to stupid Direct TV. Here's hoping though... |
