Member since: 8/12/2009 | | The Outsiders (tv series) | | I'd love to see this '90s tv series on dvd. Anyone else remember this show that aired on FOX? It was a continuation of the 1983 movie with the same characters (different actors). Francis Ford Coppola produced it and actors like Billy Bob Thorton, David Arquette and Michael Madsen were in it. Arquette and Thorton had recurring roles and the pilot even had a young Leonardo Di Caprio in a very small part. It was another one of those great shows that only lasted a year. |

I have both movies, the original and the complete novel version, and this would make everything better. Expecially with the 20th anniversary coming up. Please release the tv series dvd. |

Please, Please make these episodes on dvd so I could enjoy them again. I have them somewhere on video cause I recorded every episode but I have no idea where they could be, so pleaaaasssee release this awesome series again!!

Member since: 2/10/2009 | | RE: The Outsiders (tv series) | | warner bros owns the movie so if they own the series it might eventualy get put out it said in a conversation that occurs with tvshows on dvd that they wanted to get there short lived series out on dvd i guess there deciding how to do it so maybe it will get it liscensed or put on warner archive since its only 13 episodes ive never seen it only the movie witch i actualy watched a few days id love to check this out hopefully shout will make some big deals with warner or atleast i hope so they own some of the tv on dvd ever made |

I saw this thread and had to respond, I too would love to have the dvd set of this series, I love the book, have the movie, with the extended scenes that were deleted from the original movie release back on vhs, and I loved the series, it would be such a joy to have the series to watch |
