Desert Rose Band looking for record label for new live album for reunion concert tour (Chris Hillman of The Byrds)
The Desert Rose band is doing a reunion tour after 20 years, Chris Hillman (from The Byrds & Flying Burrito Brothers), John Jorgenson (Elton John's guitarist), Jay Dee Maness, Bill Bryson and bluegrass/folk singer/songwriter Herb Pedersen are playing together as The Desert Rose Band. The Desert Rose Band have expressed interest in releasing a live concert album featuring their greatest hits. The Desert Rose Band have never had an official live album, only bootleg CD releases. Chris Hillman is currently looking for a record label to release the live album, which would be recorded this year during their 2010 reunion tour. I hope that they can get a record deal and have a new live album very soon.
