Is there any chance that Shout Factory could release these cartoon shows on dvd?

These cartoon shows were all made by DIC: Double Dragon, Pole Position, and Mummies Alive.

We had a pretty good relationship with DiC, but never had the rights to those series.  And while, our relationship with Cookie Jar seems to be a good one, as well, we've not really gone into talks about acquiring new shows.  I think one of the main issues is with the economy, to be honest.  There was a lot of demand for shows like Jayce & the Wheeled Warriors, but when it was released, we didn't sell that many.  I fear shows with similar-sized audiences like Pole Position have the same result.

The good thing about Pole Position is that it is one of those releases you can do in one swoop (only 13 episodes) and not have to worry about any drop offs with the next volume.  Video game cartoons tend to do better than others.  Other video game cartoons I'd like to see on DVD are Dragon's Lair, Pac-Man, and Saturday Supercade (Donkey Kong, Mario, and other classic video game characters appear).

The toy cartoons Visionaries and Inhumanoids are other short lived cartoons I wouldn't mind seeing on DVD (now that Shout! has a relationship with Hasbro).

Double Dragon was also based on a video game series and only has 26 episodes which can be released in one box set.

Mummies Alive has 42 episodes which would be released in 2 box sets.  I think the Mummies Alive episodes were written by the same people who wrote the Real Ghostbusters episodes.

I would definately get a Beverly Hills Teens set. A very entertaining show with a great intro.

Is there any chance that Shout Factory could release the 12 Super Mario Bros Super Show live action segments that they didn't release on dvd?

These were the ones they didn't release: Slimebusters, Magic's Magic, Mommies Curse, Baby Mario Love, The Ghoul Of My Dreams, 9001: A Mario Odyssey, The Magic Love, Texas Tea, George Washington Slept Here, Treasure of the Sierra Brooklyn, Tutti Frutti Oh Mario, and Tutti Frutti Mario.

If it is region 1, then it is a bootleg.  It hasn't had an official US release.  I have the UK DVD release.

You could sneak an episode of both pole position and double dragon on dvd by making a "best of" video games dvd.  You could put an episode of super mario and sonic, plus captain n, zelda, and maybe if you have the rights the battletoads and bubsy pilots.

You could came it "Super mario and the video game all-stars".
