Maybe you can get Steve Purcell, the creator of that pair of comical heroes made up of the dog wearing the suit, and the episodic, psychotic lagomorph, involved in the production of such. I'm sure it would be a good idea! Then again, what hasn't? |

So, there were some episodes not shown on TV that were made. It would be neat to see these episodes in a collection with the episodes that were shown on TV. |

In the case of Sam & Max: Freelance Police, there were only 13 half-hour episodes. Don't get excited... I know what you're thinking. All but two of these episodes (the first and last) were split up into two cartoons a piece. Therefore, the total number of stories is 24 spread out over 13 episodes.
Oh, and by the way... We're developing this title's box set right now. Tee hee...

P.S.-- That's right. I said it. "Tee hee."

Member since: 2/10/2007 | | RE: Sam & Max: Freelance Police! | | I was wondering Brian, there is a Christmas special of Sam And Max, would this be considered as one of the episodes on the set or a separate episode entirely. Secondly I think it would be neat to have a link on the DVD of scanned images from the Telltale Sam And Max webisode comics. Finally, I once saw at a comic shop a comic of Sam and max, It would be neat to include this on the DVD. Here is a link to an image of it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Sam_%26_Max_-_Surfin_The_Highway_%28front_cover%29.jpg |

Well, there's some possibly good news for you... check this thread on the Telltale Games Sam & Max board.
From the Lois Buhalis' (Sam & Max comic letterer) livejournal page: Sunday was more of the same. I had wanted to see the Sam and Max panel, which was about the internet game mostly, so I could see Steve Purcell, who I think I haven't seen in about 10 years or so. It was a really interesting panel, and good to check in with Steve. There are still some unfinished Sam & Max pages and I might get to letter them! They'd probably go into the soon-to-be-released reprint collection. |

You will make a lot of people happy if you get this out on DVD. It would be great to have Steve Purcell commentaries on the episodes he wrote as well. Best of Luck! |

Member since: 6/11/2007 | | RE: Sam & Max: Freelance Police! | Gametap put it's video on demand stuff up for free on their website so now anyone can watch the S&M episodes.
Hopefully this won't effect the sales. At least there is only one season of this show and won't have to worry about whether or not a second season DVD will be released based on sales. |

So once the DVDs come out, you can watch the episodes in brilliant video quality as only Shout Factory, and other DVD companies, can bring it. |

Member since: 1/12/2007 | | RE: Sam & Max: Freelance Police! | Good news, gang: Nelvana has officially approved the final, colored version of the slipcase cover. As soon as I get the greenlight from the powers-that-be, I'll give you a sneak peek. Personally, I think it's pretty amazing.
So that everyone's on the same page, we're dealing with a slipcase and two thinpaks (which will hold three discs; you do the math!) that will all be unique, exclusive illustrations by none other than Steve Purcell himself. The slipcase cover is what's officially approved by Nelvana. The two thinpaks should be turned in shortly. Looking forward to seeing them.
