The Class (2006)
The Class was a geniunely funny but overlooked sitcom from the producers of Friends.  CBS aired 19 episodes during the 2006-2007 TV season.  It starred Lizzy Caplan, Jason Ritter and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (now on Modern Family).  Shout could capitalize on Jesse's current popularity with a release of The Class.  Plus with only one season to release, fans wouldn't sit around refusing to buy sets until they saw that more seasons would be coming.

RE: The Class (2006)
The Class was awesome.  CBS were complete idiots for canceling this show.  Another example of where someone should have gotten fired for this mistake.  I would really like to see this on DVD

RE: The Class (2006)
The Class was funny and had likeable characters (although the writing became a bit more "typical" and cliched after it came back from it's mid-season break...I'm convinced the suits meddled and reworked it)

Still, one of the few sitcoms I've enjoyed from this decade, so naturally it got cancelled and didn't even get a DVD release. :P

Lizzy Caplan's great.  Remember her previous short-lived sitcom, The Pitts?  She deserves a more regular gig!
