Ditto Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors!  Looks like Shout is rolling out a pile of shows that have been in limbo with this new "direct from the website exclusive" program, so fingers crossed!

Happy Holidays Brian! I am very excited that Shout! Factory will release Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog Volume 3 to Shout! Factory's website only in early 2010 to complete the 1990's Sonic the hedgehog cartoon series collections. Will Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog Volume 3 be released in January 2010? What is the cover art going to look like for Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog Volume 3? Thank you.

And very happy holidays to you, too, Jonny.

Brian,
Will Sonic's Christmas blast be in Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog Volume 3? Will Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog Volume 3 be released in January 2010? What kind of special features will be in the third volume?

Thanks a bunch that your finally releasing AoStH season 3 or volume 3 whichever you will call it. And to tell you the truth I think you should leave the christmas special out since you already released it once and you can get it on an individual DVD by itself right now for $2 at Big Lots I should know cause I was just there. lol. but thats my opinion. Oh and Merry Christmas to you all!

I own these shows from Shout Factory: Sonic the Hedgehog the complete series, Adventures of Sonic the hedgehog season 1 and 2, Sonic Underground seasons 1 and 2, Mario Bros. 3 the complete series, captain N and the new super mario world, legend of zelda, Super Mario Bros. Hey Brain, you guys still deciding if you're going to use segasonic52000's idea for the box art? Here is the link for you just in case you forgot about it.

http://www.shoutfactory.com/community/1017/thread.aspx

It would be so epically awesome for you guys to use that box art.

RE: Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog Vol. 3

They had a bunch of N-Circle (not Shout!) releases when I went to Big Lots today.  I got:

Sonic Christmas Blast - $3

Jayce & the Wheeled Warriors: Escape from the Garden of Evil- $2 (4 episodes)

They also had Pro Stars, Sabrina, and others.  I haven't really watched Jayce much, so this is a good way to get exposed to it. Sonic Christmas Blast can also be found cheap on e-bay new.

Hehehe...one of my chat room regulars picked up that Jayce disc at the sale.  I started chewing him out saying, "Dude!  Why didn't you get the SF set???  It's got like half the series!"  And his response, "Because this was 3 dollars."  :D  Can't argue with that!

Can't argue with that logic, especially with the economy being bad. Anywho I would like to see Christmas Blast as part of the set. 2 reasons, 1 I'm not going to buy DiC's Christmas Blast dvd, cause I don't like the other shows that were on the dvd with Sonic's Christmas Blast. 2 I don't think that N-Circle version of the dvd has any kind of bonus material. However if it boils down to the point where Christmas Blast isn't going to incorporated with Vol. 3, then I will try to hunt down the N-Circle version at my local Big Lots. So lets just hope that Christmas Blast will be included.

*We Won*

It is amazing how I've been following these releases on the forums since the very first volume of the Super Mario Bros Super Show.  My wishlist has been mostly Mario, Zelda and Sonic, though the recommendation of C.O.P.S was a surprise treat.  I don't mind the limited amount of special features, as long as the discs are professionally pressed and not DVDR.  Well done everyone and thank you Shout!.

* sure glad i didn't cave and buy that UK complete set release a few years ago.

Well you know...the ncircle edition has one good thing about it. You can watch the show in Spanish. I have a copy of that particular episode in French, English, and now Spanish so...even if it dont get included you still get a good deal on the ncircle version if you think about it.

That's great news!

I'm glad that Shout Factory is going to finish Sonic The Hedgehog series and as it just so happens both my computer and printer start dying the same time that I'm starting to learn how to drive.

Big financial obligations but I think I can scrounge up the cash to buy Sonic.  ;)

Have a Happy Holidays everyone and thank you Brian for being so good to your customers and replying to them in the forums.

We've not released an actual date, yet.  But I think it's one you could probably look for sometime in the first half of the year.  We really have to look at sales of the first four titles released, to determine how well the DTC system works and whether or not there's anything that needs to change.  So I'd like pay close attention to the site for further details.

I will say that this cheap set has compelled me to buy Jayce IF Shout finishes releasing the series through their exclusives.  Me buying Volume 1 now is going to make zero difference at this point in the game on whether they release any further and I don't feel like having another incomplete series.

Fair enough, but I'm happy to have at least PART of a series than none at all.  Especially a good one like Jayce.  Naturally, I'd prefer all of it, but if that's all that available I'll take what I can get.  Before this, all I had was 22 random episodes thanks to the long out of print VHS releases.  Now I've got more than I had before, in better quality, including many episodes I'd never seen before.

Expect the release date for Sonic The Hedgehog to be by 3/19/2010.  Their first "wave" of exclusive titles were all released on 1/19/2010 and My Two Dads (Season 2) kicks off "wave" two in March.  The product page for AoSTH 3 should be created soon.

Come on everyone cant you just get along. Fighting and begging still ain't gonna get them to move faster just give them some time they have a million things to do and money to spend to make this. All this bickering ain't helping. When Brian is ready to tell us that Sonic is ready, he'll tell us. Until then....well just stop bugging him. I also would like to see this forum redesigned so that threads with a recent post get bumped to the top.  Or at least have there be an drop down option the viewer could selected.  Webmasters take note.

Shout has updated their upcoming release to now include order of the show The Goldbergs: The Complete Series.  Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog is next on their list so be prepared for ordering within the next few weeks.

Also, C.O.P.S. fans out there will be pleased to see "C.O.P.S Volume II" now in the second wave list (Due Early 2010...so expect by March).  Before it was not.

I had heard they were working on a new 2D game codename "needlemouse".  I think it is appropriate because the 3D sonic games just never really worked well.  However Sonic Unleashed was a fun game (daytime) levels and the music was superb.  Plus, that opening cinematic rivals what Pixar is currently doing.  Maybe Shout could do a dvd tie in with the game, though Volume 3 will probably be out before the game.  Good news for Sonic Fans on all fronts.

It is starting to look that way.  Shout has designed pages for both Sonic and C.O.P.S. now.  I don't think the "buy" buttons are programmed yet for the website, but i got curious as to what each volume would cost.  Looking at the other exclusive titles, expect each cartoon to run about $39.99.  I don't think Shout! is setup for pre-orders.

While this is just a guess, Brian had asked C.O.P.S. fans to check back on Tuesday of next week to see if the "buy" button is setup for pre-orders.  C.O.P.S. and AoSTH are both released on March 16th.

The day when jonny stops asking questions will be a happy one.

But I swear, even with the DVD in hand, he'll find more questions to ask.

"Brian, will the DVD fit in a CD case?

Well some nice news for cop fans is that C.O.P.S. Volume 2 now has an active Buy button and the retail price is lower than expected ($29.99).  AoSTH still does not yet have an active Buy button, but I hope it also will retail for $29.99.  I'd consider picking up both series if they are that low.  Brian are there any "free shipping" specials for buying two exclusive titles?

Sorry that I haven't been around for a while, but I'm glad to hear the good news. I'm kinda shocked that you went with the generic box art instead of using segasonic52000's fan-made box art, I mean come on you're trying to send the final series off with a bang here, but then again you might be right it could run into alot of copyright infringements. oh well beggars can't be choosers. would be nice to be included though. Anywho can't wait to order it.

I think they always had to submit the artwork for approval before it could be mass produced.  Even changing the boxes from Pink, To Blue to Green probably still required that the mock box be shipped and passed around to every man, women and seasonal Intern working at Sega before they were given the go ahead.

Considering how iffy it was that we would ever get AoSTH volume 3, i'd be happy with the plainest of artwork and no bonus features, just so long as it got released.  It will be so nice to have my mario and sonic collection finished.

I agree with glexter on this, I'm just happy the set is being released. I mean it was fun and all to come up with a cover...but...if its gonna be that much work to pass a simple cover well then....Speaking of which, when will pre-orders begin? This weekend hopefully?

Oh and Brian um...sorry for asking on a sonic thread but...is there any chance you could do an exclusive for the rest of Carmen Sandiego?

I own these shows from Shout Factory: Sonic the Hedgehog the complete series, Adventures of Sonic the hedgehog season 1 and 2, Sonic Underground seasons 1 and 2, Mario Bros. 3 the complete series, captain N and the new super mario world, legend of zelda, Super Mario Bros. Look, guys... I know a lot of people have joined since the last time I made this announcement, so I'll make it again.  Leave Jonny alone.  It doesn't take a brain surgeon to realize there's something going on there.  I don't want to be the one to say it.  And I shouldn't have to be.  Let it go, because to be honest, while I can clearly see what his issues are, I have a hard time looking past the issues of those who clearly can't.

RE: Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog Vol. 3
I have two things to say:

First, I'm really glad to see Brian the de facto if not the facto of Shout! standing up for Jonny, that's almost unheard of in the marketplace where money is prized about everything else including morality, ethics and the feelings of customers.  My personal opinion agrees with Brian, I've seen Jonny on other sites asking about cartoons both unreleased and only partially released and see him get constantly ridiculed.  What his issues are, are none of our business unless Jonny wishes to share it with us.  Is it annoying?  Not really, if you're annoyed you can always just read past his posts.  Take a moment though to put yourself in Jonny's shoes and whatever issues he's having and then be ridiculed by several online communities, it has to feel horrible and for some people the internet is the only thing they have.  So be polite and if you can't be polite be quiet.  And anyway from a business point of view I think Jonny is right, it is after all the squeaky wheel who gets the grease and it's more true when it comes to products than almost anything else, I mean if a company didn't know it's customers liked a certain product or wanted a certain product rereleased then they probably wouldn't continue manufacturing said product and would never rerelease a product.

Second, Brian, I just pre-ordered Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog Vol. 3!  Thank you so much for releasing it and you came just in time!  I'm going offline for an indefinite amount of time, offline things, you all understand and I was worried that I might miss out on Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog Vol. 3 and I do believe that it's one of the very FEW items that I've ever pre-ordered!  You're awesome Brian, keep up the good work!

RE: Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog Vol. 3

Gee. I haven't even bought Volume 2. But once I do get Volume 2, I'll put money in the bank (no credit cards on me), so I can Pre-Order AND, if it's possible, pay for Volume 3 in full. One gripe I have is the site's page, listing wrong episodes in the wrong order. It should be this:

  • Disc 1:
    1. Super Robotnik
    2. Robolympics
    3. Magnificent Sonic
    4. Blackbot the Pirate
    5. Hedgehog of the Hound Table
    6. Robotnik's Pyramid Scheme
  • Disc 2:
    7. Prehistoric Sonic
    8. Baby-Sitter Jitters
    9. Honey, I Shrunk the Hedgehog
    10. RobotnikLand
    11. The Mobius 5000
    12. The Little Merhog
  • Disc 3:
    13. Road Hog
    14. The Robots' Robot
    15. Tails' Tale
    16. Hero of the Year
    17. Fast and Easy
    18. Lifestyles of the Sick and Twisted
  • Disc 4:
    19. Sonic is Running
    20. Robo-Ninjas
    21. Sonically Ever After
    22. Sonic Christmas Blast
    BONUS: How to Draw Tails!

That's the TRUE Episode Listing for Volume 3. Robotnik Jr. isn't even ON this volume, other than the clip where he disowns his dad/maker in "Hero of the Year." And the "Quest for the Chaos Emeralds" episodes were listed out of the true order on the page. Because Robotnik goes after the emeralds in the following Time Periods:

Pirate Era (BlackBot) > Arfurian (Hound Table) > MobiGypt (Pyramid Scheme) > Prehistoric, then all three again in reverse order (Prehistoric Sonic)!

I believe the Pilot you are speaking of is on Volume 2, available in stores, if you can catch it, that is! And scenes from said pilot were used, not only in the credits, but also "Untouchable Sonic." Hm. If the DVD's Episode order IS the same as the page's listing, then I suggest you prepare for some DVD Episode Re-Arranging, just to assure everyone that it's being fixed.

I thought Shout said they no longer own the rights to DiC  cartoons. I thought N Circle and Cookie Jar were releasing DiC cartoons on DVD from their company. I've asked to have Shout to put Beverly Hills Teens, and Maxie's World on DVD from them from my BHT and Maxie's DVD petitions. And some BHT fan from Mexico said to me that Shout couldn't release any of the DiC cartoons from their company anymore. Because they didn't own the rights to the DiC cartoons anymore. And Sonic the Hedgehog is from DiC.

I think this is the exception. I mean, since they have yet to release Volume 3, they had to get the rights, and get 'em well. I mean, other titles like Sabrina: The Animated Series only comes in a Best-Of pack, when it comes to Shout Factory. Cookie Jar Entertainment is probably gonna do volumes of the show. As for Johnny Test, though Cookie Jar and Teletoon owns the show, Warner Bros. has DVD rights! Don't ask me why, but Cartoon Network wants the show to succeed SO much that we could see many forms of merchandise, including action figures of Johnny Test and Dukey as different things, like their Superhero aliases - Johnny X and Super Dukey! Who would even WANT to see that coming? NOT ME!

The episode order on the DVDs and packaging is correct.  The site is inaccurate.  I'll take care of that.

As for the "pilot," this was test animation done and was not a complete episode.  I have that in my possession, but DiC didn't have the legal right to have it broadcast or distributed in any way.  So we were not allowed to incorporate it into the sets.

Eh, I could've told you that, anyway. I just chose not to, that's all, thinking that the policy on Youtube Videos was the same as on ToonZone's forums. I DID like it, though. Maybe someone could try working on a version of the pilot, with actual AOSTH Sound effects, plus added AOSTH Music, and revisions. Of course, that voids the warranty, doesn't it?

@ B Ward is the quality of  of the pilot episode that you have better quality than what's on You Tube and if it is can't you get premission to upload it somewhere? it looks like the one on You Tube is missing the credits or at least that's what it says in the discription. there are so many copies of the pilot on You Tube I don't know if I watched the right one.

I have a decent-quality .mov of the "episode" that was given to me by Milton Knight when we first spoke for Vol. 1.  But, again, I don't have the authority to post this.  DiC is contractually obligated to withhold it.  This is a contractual thing with the voice cast.  The "episode" cannot be broadcast or screened for the public.

As for the episode order on the site, I'm not sure when they'll be corrected.  I'll look into it.

Has anyone who's pre-ordered their copy have their order shipped yet? It's now 3:07 PM EDT, and my order still says "in process". I hope it will come out on time.

I apologize in advance if I've "panicked" (sp?), but this is the first time I've ordered from Shout! Factory, so I don't understand entirely how it all works.

RE: Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog Vol. 3 I Received It !!! I have some questions though
Hi I have received my DVD of Adventures Of  Sonic The Hedgehog Vol.3 and I have a question about the case. All of the previous Sonic The Hedgehog releases from Shout Factory came in like a hard cover slip and the dvd's came in two cases how come this release comes in a regular case and with no hard slip cover? Is it because it is a Shout Factory exclusive and to save costs they had to get rid of the Hard Cover?

I am so happy though that I finally own all of my Favorite Sonic The Hedgehog Series from when I was a kid thanks Brian Ward and all of the wonderful people that made all of the Sonic The Hedgehog Series (Pre Sonic X) Possible.

RE: Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog Vol. 3

I have just finished watching Disc 1, and based on this particular one, there are some problems:

1. There is an extra episode that shouldn't be here. "Robotnik Jr." has already appeared in one of the previous AoSTH sets.

2. On Disc 4 (based on the cover insert) shouldn't Sonic Christmas Blast (a separate TV special that premiered later) be put in the Bonus Features section?

3. Most importantly however, all of the episodes use the Cookie Jar logos. This is especially a problem since the first two sets used the original DIC logos (as they should).

The first two are confirmed, but the third is, again, based on the first disc alone. I plan to watch the next three discs to see if this is the case on those as well. Either way, I must ask. Will there be a replacement program? I normally don't ask this, but these are very significant problems, and I don't think that asking for replacements that fix these issues is unreasonable (we had one for the first Transformers set, right?). I don't mind the missing Bohbot logos and commercial bumpers, but only because that would be nitpicking. In any case, depending on what the next three discs are like, the entire set may have to be replaced.

In the past, Shout! Factory's releases have been of much higher quality than this; even the ones that have little or no bonus features. That said, I was surprised to find this set to be as seemingly "rushed" as it was. Again, Brian, I don't usually ask about this, but I feel that the above mentioned problems are significant enough to warrant a replacement program for this set. I truly hope you will consider it.

Whoa. Good thing I didn't have the money to buy the DVD Boxset! I already have Volume 2, and THAT Boxset is the one that has Robotnik Jr. When you do fix the boxsets, let us all know, and let me know that when I DO buy Volume 3, I'll actually have a fixed version of the Set, instead of an error-prone DVD Boxset. As for the End Logo Replacement, It's because DiC is now Cookie Jar. It's prominent in the shows seen at Jaroo.com, which include shows like Sabrina: The Animated Series, Captain N, Super Mario Bros. Super Show, Beverly Hills Teens, and other stuff like Sonic Underground, the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and Johnny Test!

RE: Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog Vol. 3

No offense, YoshiAngemon, but the end logo replacement is unacceptable, especially since the previous two sets have the DIC logos. In any case, yes DIC is now part of Cookie Jar, but the shows DIC made specifically need to retain them, otherwise it might cause people to think that Cookie Jar (formerly Cinar, a completely separate company) "originally" made them, when in fact this is not the case. "Cookie Jar" replacing Cinar logos is one thing (because of a scandal they were involved in), but DIC has its own history and legacy, and we simply can't just pretend as though all of that never existed. In any case, this is a separate issue for another thread.

I just finished watching all four discs, and indeed, all four are affected by the end logo replacement. Further, I have confirmed that Sonic Christmas Blast does indeed belong in "Bonus Features" since after watching "Hero of the Year", I saw the Shout! Factory logo appear (which happens when all the episodes on a disc finish playing in their entirety, including the original production logos).

Again, Shout! Factory's releases are usually of higher quality (especially Transformers and G.I. Joe), and I hope there will be a replacement program for this set.

So, basically, the DVD's Episode Playlist is the same as it was on the Product Page? That's NO GOOD! Refer to my post for the PROPER Playlist, when you replace the sets, okay?

Of course, if you all want to save yourselves the trouble of sending the Sets in, maybe someone would learn how to change the sets around, and edit the contents themselves, rearranging the episodes so it would be in the right order, and eliminating Robotnik Jr. from the set. Of course, in doing that, it voids the warranty!

I'm not so sure about that. I think what you posted was the broadcast order. On the previous two sets, the episodes were shown in "chronological" order. The first set began with "Super Special Sonic Search and Smash Squad", the chronological first episode, instead of "Best Hedgehog", the first broadcast episode. As I recall, "Sonically Ever After" was the final broadcast episode. I always felt that "Hero of the Year" was the chronological final episode, given that that was the closest "Dr. Robotnik" (now known by his Japanese name "Dr. Eggman" in the games) came to a decisive victory, plus it serves partially as a "clip episode" (I don't think the are others; not sure).

For these reasons, the (chronological) episode order on the vol. 3 DVDs should be correct (with the exception of the extra episode that's already on a previous set). Other than that, everything else I've said on previous posts still stands.

So, basically, the DVD's Episode Playlist is the same as it was on the Product Page? That's NO GOOD! Refer to my post for the PROPER Playlist, when you replace the sets, okay?

...you're seriously wanting to replace the discs just because of a logo at the end that the majority of viewers don't even notice and because the final episode of the series isn't considered a bonus feature?

Seriously? It's really THAT big of a deal to you?

They would, but not me. I actually understand how the episodes now have the Cookie Jar Logo, and choose not to make a big deal about it. If I had bought the Boxset, I would've wanted it replaced because of the order of episodes, unless Shout Factory was supposedly talked into releasing the Boxset with episodes in the Original AIRING Order, instead of the Chronologically Correct Order. I mean, it's not like they're gonna replace Boxsets 1 and 2, and re-arrange them, so that Volume 1 starts with "Best Hedgehog." Kinda makes me want to buy all the NCircle Volumes with each episode that's on Volume 3.

Ok, just to clarify....but there really isn't anything wrong with the 3rd volume is there?  If the packaging advertises 22 episodes, and one of the episodes is a repeat "robotnik Jr.", does that mean there is an episode missing.

They won't change the logo, so don't even try (Look at all the MGM movies now under the Warner Bros banner).  Also be careful how much complaining you do because you don't want to turn people off of a product when there is really nothing wrong with it.  Especially since Shout Exclusives is still in a marketing trial.

I already mentioned this, but Sonic Christmas Blast is a separate TV special that premiered later. It's not an episode of this series.

Anyway, for what it's worth, I'm not completely worried about SCB since that's actually available on DVD elsewhere; namely the aforementioned N'Circle's standalone DVD, plus Shout's DIC Christmas Blast DVD.

A lot of people wanted Sonic Christmas Blast included.  It is an extra.  As long as all the episodes themselves are all there and run correctly (no glitches, scenes missing, or bad audio) that is what is important.  It doesn't sound like this release is having any of those problems from the posts so far.  Now, you have the complete series on DVD, wheras a month ago you didn't.

Actually, all of the episodes ARE kept intact. The only downside is that Robotnik Jr. is added in. That, and the episodes are not in the Chronologically correct order. Because in "Sonic is Running," when Wes was referring to "That time he helped Sonic, nothing personal" he was probably referring to how Sonic crashed Robotnik's Villain of the Year Party, and how Wes used that train! Either that or how Wes came along with Sonic and Sgt. Doberman to destroy the Stupidity Ray, if you were referring to the ORIGINAL Airing order.

RE: Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog Vol. 3

Personally, I think "that time he helped Sonic" could very well refer to either the "pinball fortress" episode, or "Hero of the Year". In any case, I'm pretty sure that "Hero of the Year" is the chronological final episode.

Anyway, I don't want it to look as though I'm "only complaining", so let me say this. I am grateful that vol. 3 is now out, however I still think there should be a replacement program for this set. However, I do support this new "direct-to-consumer" program that S!F is doing, and I hope it will continue. That said, I hope that volume 2 of Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors is released this way, but only of the DIC logos are kept intact, even if it's the "Kid in Bed" logo or even the later "Incredible World of..." logo; just as long as the original company is acknowledged. On the other hand, if Shout! Factory is unable to do this; if for some reason or another the actually "can't" do it (i.e., because of some kind of circumstances beyond their control), then I'll understand.

Maybe they misinterpreted the programs, and should've listed "21 Episodes, plus 1 Special!" If they said 22 Episodes, they must really LOVE Robotnik Jr. to add it into the mix!

RE: Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog Vol. 3
Ok, I had to look at the episode list over at Wikipedia and compare all the episodes against our DVD collection.  First, they are right, Robotnik Jr. is included on the 3rd volume.  There are however 23 episodes spread out over the four discs and not 22 as the packaging states.  Obviously this takes into account the 66th episode which is the Christmas Special and the *bonus* Robotnik Jr. episode.

Good, I was worried we were missing one.  The episodes are listed out of order as a few members here have stated, but the Quest for the Chaos Emerald episodes appear in the correct order...except the final chapter is on disc 2.  Not to bad.  I was worried.

Except that there is no "66th episode". Like I stated previously, Sonic Christmas Blast is a separate TV special that premiered around 1995-1996 or so (which would actually be at least a year after the SatAM series concluded), and should really be in "Bonus Features". I believe the name is even a partial tie-in to "Sonic 3D Blast" which came out for the Genesis and Saturn in 1996.

Also, how are the episodes "out of order"? They ARE in chronological order...aren't they?

I think this is all due to a big misunderstanding. We should've been more clearer. I mean, counting Sonic Christmas Blast as an actual episode? That's crazy! Most everyone knows that it basically combines the continuities of SatAM and AOSTH to make a unique one. It's probably an Archie Comics Continuity.

As I said in an eariler post I have gotten my set but after reading about so many issues with Vol.3 I decided not to open it yet to see if there would be a replacement/exchange program soon the issue that bothers me the most is the Robotnik Jr. Episode since it was already on Vol.2 and that the episodes are not in the correct order. Is anybody looking into the issues with Vol.3?

sorry but i must say that you guys are pathetic

You wine and complain that Shout included an already released episode again when you should be freaking gratefull that they actually released the rest of the  show at all without a missing episode   and in good quality

And if you think that the episodes are out of order than just a sticky paper on the DVD cover and write the episodes in correct order

RE: Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog Vol. 3
The episodes are in production order, per our contract with DiC/Cookie Jar.  There will not be a replacement program of the discs, as the only "error" is that "Robotnik, Jr." reappears.  The Cookie Jar logo is a contractual obligation.

"Sonic Christmas Blast", while a standalone special, is in DiC's records and logs as "Adventures Of Sonic The Hedgehog: Sonic's Christmas Blast Special."  Throughout the previous incarnations of this thread over the course of the life of this forum, we were asked time and time again to include it on Vol. 3.  We did.  As an episode or as a bonus feature is simply nitpicking, particularly since you don't have access to the paperwork I do.

AoSTH is now complete.  Enjoy, guys.

@ B Ward thanks for explaining the situation with Adventures Of Sonic The Hedgehog Vol.3 and the Logos, the Robotnik Jr. Episode being added was just a simple mistake and it happens to all of us,as long as all of the episodes are there which they are that's fine  and besides with out you or Shout Factory we would not have any of the Sonic the Hedgehog Cartoons in R1 So thanks again I am now off to watch Sonic The Hedgehog Vol.3

The same applies to Captain N and the Super Mario Bros Collection! Not to mention, the Legend of Zelda, and Sam & Max: Freelance Police, all of which I have. If only Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space were to hit stores as easily, and as availably as the DVD did.

That's why I pre-ordered Beyond Time and Space from Gamestop.  I have my copy.  I haven't played it yet, but I'm sure it will be sweet.  As for the episode listing, well, there doesn't seem like much of a problem for me.  I had to deal with this for the others as well, but I got past it.  Reason being:  I had all the episodes.  If I wanted, I'd go to my multiple disk playing DVD player, and go from ep to ep.

At the end of the day, we have what we want, whether it's perfect or not.  It's here.  So, I can deal.

Thanks again, Brian.  You are a credit to nostalgia everywhere.

So  Robotnic Jr.  being added was the only mistake? Good I was worried that an episode was missing.
