I have a proposal for SHOUT! Factory: to make a deal with HBO Entertainment and NBC Universal Television Distribution for SHOUT! Factory to release a brand-new DVD compilation titled "Dream On: 20th Anniversary Edition," showcasing 18 memorable episodes (6 per disc on a 3-disc collection) of the hit 1990-1996 sitcom "Dream On" complete, uncut, & unedited, just the way that they originally aired on the HBO Television Network.
Episode requests include the following:
1. The First Episode, broadcast July 8, 1990
2. 555-HELL, broadcast September 23, 1990
3. The Second Greatest Story Ever Told, broadcast July 7, 1991
4. And Your Little Dog Too, broadcast July 14, 1991
5. And Bimbo Was His Name-0, broadcast June 6, 1992
6. Come and Knock On Our Door, broadcast August 1, 1992
7. What Women Want, broadcast August 15, 1992
8. To the Moon, Alex!, broadcast October 31, 1992
9. Oral Sex, Lies and Videotape, broadcast June 2, 1993
10. A Midsummer Night's Dream On, broadcast July 14, 1993
11. The Taking of Pablum 5-2-3 Part 1, broadcast June 22, 1994
12. The Taking of Pablum 5-2-3 Part 2, broadcast June 29, 1994
13. Attack of the 59-Inch Woman, broadcast August 10, 1994
14. Bess, You Is Not My Woman Now, broadcast July 19, 1995
15. Music in My Veins Part 1, broadcast August 30, 1995
16. Music in My Veins Part 2, broadcast September 6, 1995
17. Finale, Part 1, broadcast March 20, 1996

Been waiting and waiting for a complete Dream On series set so I can retire my old worn out VHS copies. |

One big problem with Dream On, as we've certainly looked into it in the past, is the music clearances. It was kind of a nightmare. But who knows? With successes with It's Garry Shandling's Show and The Larry Sanders Show, who knows? Maybe we can get that foot in the door.
