Exo-Squad / Conan the Adventurer / Mysterious City of Gold

Hi, my name is Chris and I'm new here to this community.  I have a couple suggestions for DVD releases.  I know there are hundreds of shows that we'd all love to see get released on DVD, but here are just a few that I have fond memories of from my childhood.  I have been pleased with the other Shout! releases, such as the Super Mario Bros. Super Show, Legend of Zelda and Inspector Gadget, and I look forward to future releases!!!

Exosquad was a science fiction animated television series that ran on the USA network and Fox from September 1993 to May 1995. It was created by Will Meugniot and Universal Animation Studios, and the show was cancelled after only two seasons.

Conan The Adventurer was a popular American animated television series adaptation of the literary and comic book character, Conan the Barbarian, created by Robert E. Howard. Produced by Jetlag Productions and Sunbow Productions, the series debuted on October 1, 1992, ran for 64 episodes and concluded exactly two years later, on October 1, 1994.

The Mysterious Cities of Gold is an animated television series produced by Studio Pierrot. It was a French/Japanese co-production which originally aired in Japan in 1982, and in France and Belgium in 1983. It aired in the United States for years on the Nickelodeon cable network in the latter part of the 1980s.  There are 39 half-hour episodes, in the typical anime serial style of one continuous story.

Dino-Riders was a cartoon television series that aired in the late 1980s, primarily as a promotion to launch a new Tyco toy line. Only fourteen episodes were produced, thirteen of which were aired as part of the Marvel Action Universe.

Hrm... well, thats not exactly good news, but at least its something.  You probablly can't get more obscure than that show.

Thanks for the update!

If you own a Region Free DVD player you get the entire series of Conan The Adventurer in a 16 volume set from Australia (Region 4). I own all 16 volumes & the quality is superb & the total price is around $85.00 American if I remember right, & with all the issues over the rights this is the best way to get the show on DVD!

I would LOVE to see Exo-Squad get a full series DVD release.  But the chances of Shout Factory doing it are slim, since it was a Universal show.  It's possible it MIGHT get shopped out, as a number of the big studios are starting to shop out their shows to other companies, so who knows!  Any thoughts on this one, Brian?

Big Yes for Conan the Adventurer. Hasbro now owns all the old Sunbow/Jetlag production stuff, so this would be a great release for after the Transformers and GI Joe stuff. A nice Region 1 DVD set with all 63 episodes would be awesome!!

I wish Shout would release Conan The Adventurer (animated series) on dvd. That would be great! One of my favorites as a kid and I still enjoy it. And there were 64 episodes great for a volume 1 and volume 2 with 32 episodes each.
