I'd love to see the show on dvd, restored for the first time in decades. Would be a great set to own. Any info is appreciated. Thanks! |

He and She ran on USA so we had a chance to tape it and OW ran on HA! Rooftop has never re-aired in the taping era so that would put it at the top of the list. Now that Shout is licensing from Sony it would be nice. But it would require work as I doubt Sony has any tape elements for this show. |

I've heard it is a lot like other shows from the 60's like Gidget and That Girl but even better. Would love to see this released. Any chance Shout would do it? I know Peter Duel has quite a following out there. He even has a fan club site. |

It's free to the general public, but reservations are required. They will be showing new digital prints from the Sony Archive. I hope all Love on a Rooftop fans will show their interest in a future DVD release by attending and/or sending a message of support! |

Member since: 9/21/2007 | | RE: Love on a rooftop | I've been wondering about this since I first read the announcement. Why would Sony have new digital prints made if they didn't intend on releasing it on dvd? I have a feeling this will be out on dvd in the near future. Fans have been asking for it for a long time and Pete Duel still has quite a loyal following. I wish I could make the screening but it's too far for me. Hopefully, there will be some news about a dvd release. I would definitely pick up a copy.

I hope there's a good turnout at the Paley Center and Sony decides to finally release the series on DVD. It was such a good show. I'm sure a lot of people would agree, if they only get the chance to see it. |
