Warner Bros. owns the rights, and unfortunately, I don't have an XBox 360 or XBox Live to use it, or Viva Piñata for that matter. |

Pac-man was broadcast on ABC and then went to cable, do you think it was uncut? Look what happened to Swat Kats, same thing, they released the syndicated version by mistake on dvd. They don't want to do that again.

Member since: 3/6/2009 | | RE: pac-man | Yeah that's great news. I have been waiting a very long time for this to come to DVD. I broke down 2 WEEKS ago and bought it on the Zune Marketplace. I will still buy the hard copy for upscaling and hard copy purposes.

Member since: 4/20/2011 | | RE: pac-man | I really liked this show as a kid. But it just dosen't hold up well (and believe me, I give many shows the benefit of the doubt). I watched a couple on Youtube last night. They seem to all have the same formula, despite slightly differing plots.
1.Ghost mosters are chasing Pac-Man (or family)
2.Pac-Man gets power-pellets and chomps Ghost monsters
3.Ghost monsters return to Mezmeron in shame
4. Mezmeron reveals his next plan, sends Ghost Monsters back out
5.Ghost Monsters do whatever the plan is, almost succeed
6.Pac-Man &/or family/ friends get more power pellets and chomp Ghost monsters again (end of episode)
Seeing this 26 times in a row can get very annoying. Even the Superfriends were not this repetative. I am glad I watched a couple of these first as I too was all set to buy this simply for nostalgia reasons. But on the other hand...my kids (5&6) loved it. Maybe if I can get it super cheap, Ill get it for them. |
