Samurai Pizza Cats Please!
I would love for Shout! Factory to distribute this series. It was a really funny cartoon and has never been officially released on DVD. The DVD set that IS out there is probably a bootleg and incomplete.

I would definitely buy it.

-Thanks

I've said it before and I'll say it again, we really want this one to be released.  It is a great show from the early 90s that is downright hilarious.  Please help us get a proper DVD release of this one.

or Better Yet, Why not let Shout! Factory commission Tatsunoko to release the uncut episodes of Kyatto Ninden Teyandee (The original Samurai Pizza Cats) for American DVD release (with English subtitles of course)

Why not both?  I'd really love to have these shows in a way that's actually legit.  Much like SatAM before its DVD boxset release, the episodes are killing my hard drive space.

I would also love if an official release was put out. I only recently found out that the DVD set that I bought (that I thought was legit) was seemingly a knock-off... I was SO excited to find a box set of the show, too! I would definitely toss this set and but a licensed box set if it came out!

Since Saban got some of Power Rangers back (all of it? As far as I know Disney is only doing a remake of MMPR, correct me if I am wrong), maybe they got their cartoon rights back too?

I would REALLY like to see Samurai Pizza Cats on DVD. The funny English dub of course, and if SF can manage it - subs of the original Japanese dialogue.

Disney no longer has anything to do with the Power Rangers franchise. Saban Brands bought everything in regards to PR from them.

That had me thinking, it might be a possibility in pizza cat's case. Especially if saban use the pilot in any PR set. If memory serves me, there was a tv in that episode that showed clips of SPC before a news story breaks....

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's thought Shout! Factory would be the perfect company to release this series.

I've been told that the original Japanese show is filled with cultural jokes and wordplays, so watching it subbed may be difficult. I'd love to see it that way, of course, but I'd also love to see the full Samurai Pizza Cats the way it was aired on TV in the US. It was a funny dub in its own right, and I usually don't care much for dubs.

So, ideally, both the English show and the original Japanese show would be released.
