RE: Danger Bay And The Beachcombers
Both Danger Bay and The Beachcombers are classic Canadian TV!!!  I would love it if Shout! Factory or Canadian company VEI could get the rights for both shows so it can be released on DVD!!!  I am a HUGE Fan of Danger Bay!!!!

RE: Danger Bay And The Beachcombers

mystro88, just to clarify for Shout, Danger Bay aired in the '80s, and The Beachcombers premiered in 1972 and ended in 1990.

"Danger Bay" is the one "holy grail" I've waited for nearly two decades.  It would also bring in a whole new generation since it hasn't aired in the States since 1990, and has had a consistent syndicated-run in Canada.

If you do look into it, please get the masters to the original CBC broadcasts.  Disney (if they still retain the U.S. rights) would probably provide you with edited masters; when they released Tales from Avonlea: The Complete First Season, it was heavily edited.  I would give anything to see the old CBC logo again, and any promos you're able to get your hands on; there's at least one from 1986 uploaded on YouTube, which I'll link below for you Shout.

As for bonus materials, if you can, I would love to see something with the cast and crew and on the Vancouver Aquarium.

I don't recall if I watched "The Beachcombers", but I would certainly check it out through Netflix.
