1980 NBC made-for-TV movie The Legend of Sleepy Hollow starring Jeff Goldblum as Ichabod Crane

I don't know if anyone at Shout remembers this popular, and IMO, definitive adaptation of Washington Irving's, but if you are ever able to license from Paramount, please keep this one in mind. (It's part of Sunn Classic Pictures which they currently own.)

My VHS recording from the '80s - complete with bumpers - has long been unwatchable. I fondly remember it airing annually. Damn shame it has fallen into obscurity.

Just maybe we'll see a remastered DVD release for the 30th anniversary in 2010?
