I will confess that I wasn't all that interested in yet another crime procedural with two unlikely team's joining forces to yadda, yadda, yadda... But, I know someone on the show and felt the need to watch it out of support. To my surprise, it was a pretty fantastic pilot.
Sure, it's full of young, pretty people making too-good-to-be-true quips to and fro while solving unbelievably tough crimes using only their come-from-one-step-behind wits, but unlike Psych or The Mentalist (I also know someone working behind the scenes on that show, sadly), I don't get the sense that the surrounding police force is a bunch of Keystone Kops.
What I admittedly thought would be just another pretty-people-solving-crimes show has actually intrigued me into anxiously awaiting multiple episodes, beyond just this next one, which introduces The Middleman's Natalie Morales in her new role as a series regular.
If you've seen it, let me know what you thought. If not, I'd give it a shot on Hulu or wherever you so choose and drop back in.. I always like hearing your opinions.
