I REALLY hope Shout Factory lets us know when they plan to release Season 4. It is my favorite.

If you love Mr. Belvedere, PLEASE don't wait to buy until the entire series is released. Shout Factory will release more seasons if the ones they already released sell well, so buy buy buy!

This is one of my favorite series and I am thankful to Shout Factory for releasing it. Can't wait for season 4.

As much as I would love to get word of season 4, I really don't think we have any reason to panic.  The last set was just released 2 months ago and even if word leaked out that another season was coming early next year, that's totally different than a formal announcement.  They're probably still working on the details and don't want to pin down a specific time frame.  It would be nice to have some "unofficial" word though. 

I see the website exclusive for season four for Jan.  Will this be DVD-r?  Will there be any special features?

Chris, I wonder if you will be very disappointed if it will be DVD-R? Also, why are they listing it as an online exclusive?

I do have to admit, the boxart looks really nice, though. However, that cast picture is actually from season 5, not from season 4. Ah well.

Sad and happy really glad there will be a new season sad on the future of Mr Belvedere at this point so I don't  know what to say at this point will we see the show completed ?

Chris, When you purchase this set as soon as it becomes available for pre-order, please report back with the following as soon as you get it:

1) If the episodes are full-length or syndicated. They should be over 23 minutes. If not, something's wrong.

2) If there are any short-openings, or are all the episodes full-length openings.

3) If Robert Goulet actually sings in "The Trip Part 2"

4) If the Counschelor episode (the most infamous episode of the series) has Belvedere dancing to Ride of the Valkyries.

5) If the Counschelor episode ends with the special message from Christopher and Brice about child molestation.

Oh and don't forget: The late legendary voice of ABC, Ernie Anderson, plays as an anouncer in the "Commentary" episode

I don't know right now if I will buy season 4 not feeling good about future sets with this news I am surprised that your not a little alarmed zaxxar.

Guys, what other choice do we have? Do we really want to see this series abandonded, or do we want to see it being completed.

I'm sorry for repeating myself, but giving up is not the way to go.

I don't know why so many people are having doubts about buying this set.  This set will have commentaries included!  I was estatic when I read that.  If you DON"T buy it then it will be in danger of not being completed.  Everyone who is a fan needs to buy this set.  It doesn't sound like there will be anything wrong with it.  It won't be DVD-R, Brian said music isn't cut.  Why is there any doubt about this?  We should all be elated!  So far, this is the only of the 6 exclusive titlesthat mentioned special features.  And to top it off we get it in under 6 months since the last release!  I'm really psyched.  The only thing I need to know in advance is what method these sets ship as that will determine where I have to have it shipped. 

Guys, I don't see why anyone is discouraged or doubtful about this release.  If anyone has bought from amazon before, there really is no fundamental difference than buying from Shout!'s website.  I'm kind of glad actually because it's like Shout! is sticking it to the retailers.  If I had to venture a guess, Mr Belvedere is probably one of the higher sellers of the 6 titles mentioned so far as web exclusives.  The second set got a release 6 months after the first.  After this season 4 set there are only two more seasons and the more people that buy this set the higher the chances we will see the remaining two seasons.  Please, everyone who has been clamoring for more Mr Belvedere, we got our wish!  Who cares if we have to buy it from the website.  Just buy it!

Glad to hear you're not going anywhere 12thman.  You we with us all this time clamoring for more of the big guy.  It may not be coming the way you hoped, but all you have to do is ask someone with a credit card to buy it for you.  Better yet, ask someone to buy it for you for Christmas .  Maybe ask your brother since he borrowed your last set .

Brian, thanks as always for the info.  Thaks also to Dave Lambert.  Thanks also to Shout! for getting us the next set so quickly.  Just curious, but do you guys plan to do any type of advertising for these exclusive titles?  I've seen the ads you guys put in EWin the past.  Also hopefully you guys will put trailers up on your youtube channel with info on how to purchase.

TV_Fan or Zaxxar I usually don't collect tv shows on dvd have you guys seen such a drop off on sales before I thought the first one sold gangbusters and this one apperantly really drop off it really seems weird to me I don't see why there was such a drop off?

I second that shoutfactory gets alot of credit as they should but the three of you guys have play apart in this and deserve credit in my book.

Christmas shopping I will buy a couple one for me and the other for a coworker I agree tv fan and 12thman have done alot for mr belvedere fans on here I have talked to tv fan a couple of times of sitcomsonline he has let almost everyone know over there what needs to be done to finish the series Thanks from this fan.

Do the right thing for the fans shout factory finish what you started give the fans the entire series I will buy a copy and do my part I have bought from you many times finish Mr Belvedere.

Thanks guys, but it's really the fans who buy the sets and Shout! who listens to the fans and keep producing the sets who deserve credit.  Many of us have done our part spreading the word that season four is coming and that's really great!

Hopefully we will hear soon which one of the creators did commentary tracks for season four.  Also which of the cast.  I'm hoping Jeff Stein & Bob Uecker were involved this time.  It's great Shout! is giving us more special features.  I can't wait for this set.

Thanks, I'm trying to get into the Christmas season.    I wouldn't care either if the last two sets didn't have special features, but it would be nice for the last season to have a reunion with the Owens all together.

As long as they do season 6 they can have Zaxxar and TV_Fan do the commentary I don't care just release it. By the way TV_Fan would pay you to do the commentary it could be TV_Fans christmas gift.

Mr. Belvedere: Season Four is finally up for pre-order.

Since Season 4 is only available thru Shout Factory, I would advise to order more than one copy. It will be a rare/collectors item.

Again, to those who are waiting for the full series to be released before purchasing, please DON"T WAIT. This shows you they might not release the rest of the series. It's too bad we can only get season 4 here, but I am HAPPY they are making it available.

Make sure to spread the word the Season 4 IS being released.  The more people buy, the better chance we will get season 5.  I am buying two copies.

You do know 12thman that buying a couple here and there is only a drop in the bucket shout factory is trying to sell thousands of dvds.

If it helps getting closer to a fifth season I would buy a extra dvd.

I think it's a combination of the recession & retailers only wanting to carry high selling titles.  Many retailers are scaling down their shelf space, and others are simply going out of business.  I think Mr Belvedere will do well enough online as an exclusive.  As has been said before, it had to do well enough to get the next season out only 4 months after season 3 (including special features even).  We can only do what we can do.  If we are able to buy more than one copy that's great.  If not, what can we do?  All we can do is buy our copies, spread the word, and hope for the best.

Really agree I think that these shows have to do well to get different shows released I am a big webster fan I will not even bring it up I just don't think it will sell well enough.

I'm not sure what the confusion is.  Brian basically said he can't discuss sales and that is totally understandable.  At this point there's nothing to be discussed anyway because the set isn't even released yet.  I'm just hoping, as we all are, that he or someone at Shout! will let us know sometime after the release if sales were enough that we can expect another set soon. 

It's disappointing about the commentaries, but I highly doubt it will be a deal breaker for anyone not to buy this set.  We have only 2 weeks until the official release date.  Can anyone tell I'm counting down .

Pre-order 2 copys  I have spread the word the great job you have done around my office  with the sets so far. I have done my part as been a common theme but either people buy it or not one thing that as happened is we the fans were able to see mr belvedere on tv again thanks to Brian and the gang I'm very grateful would be awesome to get to season 5 but I can't hink of new ways to get the word out. So on behalf of my kids and myself thanks Mr Ward and shoutfactory.

I hope we'll get season 5 soon. If I remember correctly, season 3 was announced exactly 2 months after seasons 1 & 2 were released.

My biggest fear is that season 5 may not come out due to the fact that season 4 is an online exclusive.

But here's another thought: Do you suppose that if season 4 is popular enough on this site, it will be expanded to other retailers?
