This past September we
reported that the 1968 series
It Takes a Thief , starring
Robert Wagner, is heading to DVD in 2011 thanks to the folks at eOne. At the
time we told you to expect it in February, but our latest word is that the
studio has pushed it back to the
Summer 2011 timeframe, possibly around
July. The first title, we hear from unofficial sources, will be
It Takes a
Thief - The Complete 1st Season (out of three seasons all
together).
The first season's 16 episodes (including the 90-minute pilot
telefilm) includes guest stars such as Leslie Nielsen, Raymond Burr, Wally Cox,
James Drury, Stuart Margolin, Susan Saint James, Francine York, Simon Oakland,
Gavin MacLeod, Tina Louise, William Campbell, Mark Lenard, Bill Bixby, Ida
Lupino, Eve Plumb, Cathy Lee Crosby, and more! These aired in early 1968, as the
show was a mid-season replacement on ABC.
Keep in mind that the info we
have is not official nor provided from the studio, so it could be subject to

we've also heard rumors that has 1975 series with Eddie Albert,
Switch is
also coming to DVD in the future (albeit from a different studio than
