Some fun Peyton Place trivia while we are waiting....

I collect old records, and last night when I was online I came across a truly rare and classic LP:  The Boy from Peyton Place by Chris Connolly.  Norman Harrington sings!  Boy, I was totally tempted to grab it immediately -- I am, after all, the nerd who actually has Patty Duke LP's and the picture cover of her first single -- but decided to wait and spend the money on Peyton Place #3.  I am sure it's an awesome LP, and if SHOUT doesn't release PP #3 soon I will buy it, and then drive to their offices and play it through a very loud PA system to get their attention.  :-)

PS:  Oh, I'm a geek alright:  I also have the Rosemary's Baby soundtrack LP with Mia Farrow doing that spooky lullaby!

That album sounds interesting...lets just hope it's better than Neely O'Hara warbling away!

And you wouldn't dare drive to SHOUT's offices and blare this record!  If so, swing by and pick me up!
I know some people may still have 8 Track decks in their cars, but a turntable?  Now that impresses!

Yep, I have an honest-to-God turntable, and can  play all of my groovy/far out  records.  It comes in handy considering I don't have a way to convert my 45's and LP's to MP3.  But Helen -- 8 Track?  C'mon...you're teasing me with that one, and perhaps making just a little fun of me.  That's okay.  You gotta know I love the hell out of you without even knowing you.  :)  Something tells me we could go on for the longest time about the finer points of pop culture, and our own committment to it. In the meantime, I am hoping that you will keep up the fight for more PEYTON PLACE.  I will continue to watch any community stream that has your name.  Thanks!

Yes It was the booze talking.  I was just amusing myself, not trying to make fun of you.  But where do you fit a turntable in your car with a PA system?  Sounds like complicated wiring!  ;-)

I am still awaiting word for a release of the next volume of Peyton Place.  This is depressing.

Thanks for being a sweetie!  What other cool records do you have?  Funny I was just watching PP episodes with a Monkee (Mickey Dolenz).  Do you have Josie & The Pussycats? Now that was a far out band!
