More Carmen Sandiego on DVD?

Hi, I'm new here, so I don't know if this has been answered already.

Are there any plans to release more of the Fox Kids' "Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego"?  I love the first boxset, but I know that's not it as far as all the episodes in the series.  Am I mistaken in thinking that there were more episodes?

Not mistaken at all, melashaan.  Shout! released the first of the show's four seasons.  I, too, wish they would release the rest, as it was a great show and actually developed some ongoing plots in later episodes, such as the conflict between Carmen and Lee Jordan (another ACME agent-turned criminal), Ivy's pursuit of other interests as she grew older, the revelation that Carmen grew up in a San Francisco orphange, and her near reform when she met the man she believed to be her natural father.  There were also some really good stand-alone episodes like the double-cross which led to the arrest of Carmen Sandiego and her supposed death that resulted in some in-fighting at V.I.L.E.  I don't think the sales of the first season set are a fair indication of what kind of response the whole collection could bring.  Carmen was meant to be seen in all her four-season glory.

Sadly, I think Carmen will remain a mystery for the time being.  The sad reality is that there are shows out there that were great and deserve a viewing or may be worth stopping and watching, if it's on TV.  But those don't always translate into shows people are willing to shell out money for.  Where On Earth Is Carmen Sandiego appears to be one of those titles worth a watch, but not necessarily a must have for folks' DVD collections.  We are, however, looking at options.

Thanks, Brian.  It sounds like the sales were disappointing, which is sad, but I can understand why you'd rather hold off.  I'll keep an eye out for whatever options you decide to persue.
