The Baby-Sitters Club franchise is HUGELY popular online. So popular that a new Baby-Sitters Club book is being released next year, 10 years after the series ended. I know people would buy the TV series on DVD because I've seen many discussions about it.
With only 13 half hour episodes and no music rights to acquire (except that awesome theme song), a set should be inexpensive to make and sell. There is a gigantic population of 20-30 year old women who would buy this on impulse for nostalgia alone. Add in all the people who are active in the fandom communities and you have a hit on your hands.
I agree with you all. I would also love to see a DVD release of The Babysitter's Club. It was a very nice show that I still remember fondly, and as previously stated probably wouldn't cost too much to aquire and release - only 13 episodes, produced by an independent company and basically no music rights to deal with.
