SWAN'S CROSSING
Though it doesn't hurt to ask, I can't imagine how they could release this show because of the amount of episodes. It aired every day for quite a while, and very few people remember the show.

RE: SWAN'S CROSSING
Absolutely!  This is certainly a show that needs to be released on DVD.  I wonder who holds the master tapes of this show?  If nothing else, it would be a great treat for longtime fans of Mira Sorvino and Sarah Michelle Gellar who both got their starts on this show.  I think a lot of people were big fans of this show even though it aired only for one summer in 1992.  It did air everyday though, so there would be 65 episodes for release, which would fill about 8 DL discs.  I wonder if there are perhaps any episodes that were filmed by never aired?  I believe it was filmed on the same studio with Sesame Street and the Cosby Show.

The only thing I can think of that might stand in it's way are a few tidbits of licensed music being used.  I recall "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" by Tears for Fears being used during a fantasy sequence involving Sydney (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and also "November Rain" by Guns 'n ' Roses.  These were rare and brief though and as long as they had the master audio tracks for the show, they could just dub it out with generic music.

Come on Shout! Factory, you're probably the only DVD company left that would consider releasing this show -- I think it has a lot more fans than people realize.

RE: SWAN'S CROSSING
I would absolutely buy this on dvd!  I watched every episode through youtube and it's still enjoyable to this day, even though it was cheesy.  It brings back so many memories and i love the cast.  Last year, I was looking online everywhere to see if it was available, but there were so many ppl petitioning to get this show out on dvd, so hopefully Shout! Factory can!
