Is it possible for Shout! to collaborate with other companies?

Allow me to elaborate.

A few years ago, there was a show on Nickelodeon called Invader ZIM. IT gained a huge cult following, akin to Sonic SatAM. Nickelodeon did not see much in the series, and hardly aired it. A chance of a DVD was slim to none.

Then a DVD company known as Anime-Works got into talks with Nickelodeonm to release a Zim DVD themselves. Soon after, Invader ZIM DVDs were released by Anime-Works, not Nickelodeon.

They sold like hotcakes.

Now, there is a HUGE fanbase of kids, teens and adults who grew up with Nickelodeon's 1990's programming who'd love to see boxsets of their old shows released. Shows like Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, and the most sought after of all Nick series, Salute Your Shorts, released on DVD. (Don't believe me? Just do a quick Google search)

I think if Shout! were to strike a deal with Nickelodeon, and release boxsets of Doug, and Salute your Shorts, sales would be huge.

I agree, especially about shows like "Doug" and "Salute Your Shorts."  Also, don't forget their other staples like "Hey Dude," "You Can't Do That On Television," and the original Snick show "Roundhouse."  Partnerships with other networks and producers might pay off as well.  Ever since the advent of TV shows on DVD, I have feared a general forgetfulness of short-lived shows that at least deserve to be made available to the fans who remember.  Does anyone remember "Hi Honey, I'm Home"?  It was the first original Nick-at-Nite show, long before they did the kind of originals they have now.  It only produced 10 to 15 episodes, but was such a funny commentary on sitcom evolution in America.  Any chance of a Shout! Factory resurrection mission for it?

They should collaborate with Warner Bros. to release Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, a show that's TOO new to be retro, and it should have the episodes that have never aired in America! Plus they should collaborate with NBC-Universal to release EarthWorm Jim - The Complete Series, and get help from Doug TenNapel, the show's creator.
