Enough is Enough

As I sit here in complete dismay at the news , that the Television Series "Werewolf" , will not be released due to arguing over music issues. The only thing that comes to mind is , are the two artist envolved in the cancelation of the release completly losing it. I can only speak for myself in saying that as a product of the '70's and '80's I did watch a lot of  T.V. and alot of the music I bought , I usually heard on T.V. shows. If it were I that were presenting the case to the Artist whose names no one seems to know, I would point out to them that most music in todays age is bought via the internet from sources such as itunes , Napster, and many others. And those internet sources pay a proceed to the Artist.

Maybe , just maybe ,now if the people who buy the DVD's of "Werewolf " hear a song they havent heard in years , they might just go to one of the venues listed above and buy said music.

With all that said , didn't the artist in question get paid from the T.V. series originally ? Don't get me wrong I do believe that these Artist should get some royalties for the music they have recorded. But in a time when we as a country are struggling like we are right now . Maybe they shouldn't be so greedy.

I watched the series and loved it. I was deeply disappointed when it was canceled back in the '80's .I feel nothing but pity for the Artist that are standing in the way of this project from continuing , because if it is ever leaked who they are they will be getting alot of what people in the entertainment industry call " BAD PRESS ".And in all honesty I hope someone does leak it . These artist have made fortunes upon fortunes and for what they would spend on a lunch , they hold out on what could make them more money in the long run , and hold out on would be fans. I'm 40 years old , my kids love  the music from my generation like wise I love the music from my parents. I say this because the music from the show featured different types of music from country to rock. From Randy Travis to Mike and The Mechanics.

Wake up and smell the coffee Artist , let us have this show , all of you artist will be remembered by future generations to come not just by your music but by the fact that you showed the world that money isn't everything.

I hear you mate, those artist should agree and let the set be released. If that doesn't happens soon enough, I hope someone does leak the DVD set, that'll show them, plus I want it that bad.

Please Shout Factory, don't abandon the project completely, show those artists that people do care, show them this forum and forums dedicated to werewolf at werewolftv.com.

RE: Enough is Enough

I agree 100%.This was one of the most wanted dvd sets on my list.Unnamed artist my ass they should reveal themselves so we can boycott their asses for stopping a great release in it's tracks.if SHOUT FACTORY has to return the show back to sony well then sony needs to give us the show then.I mean there has to be an amount of money these artists want and if SHOUT FACTORY couldn't settle it Then SONY needs to.Back about 6 years ago they had TV series polls and WEREWOLF was one of the choices but it didn't get enough votes but if we write sony and push the issue maybe they could give us the show.So everybody flood Sony with e-mails and phone calls and demand Werewolf Now!!!

If SONY want's Proof Well They Need to look At How Many Pre orders there we're for WEREWOLF!

I know i was gonna be waiting outside BEST Buy For My Copy And was planning on buying 2 Sets! One which i planned on never opening for Collector purposes!

http://www.sonypictures.com/cthe/tv/poll/      HERE'S PROOF IT WAS ON A POLL TO BE VOTED ON FOR RELEASE.
