look at the shout website and how many titles they have. Out of all of them very few were not completed. Those that were not were either A. because they lost the rights or B. the first volumes sold so poorly that it would not make fiscal sense to continue to release them. It is cheap to make a dvd, but it is not cheap to produce a dvd. There are some serious costs involved and any company of any worth would analyize if it makes sense to release something. If they already have sales data (jaycee, cops) that clearly show that they would LOSE money than of course they wont do it. As brian ward has already said they are not a charity. If they release projects that lose money they cannot pursue projects that do. Its a simple business model. Maybe some people out there see a MR Monopoly character running shout, counting his $. I am sure it is not that way. So Jaycee and the wheeled warriors will never have another volume. Oh well. The money saved on that surely helped get the Transformers set out into the world. Fair trade. Move on. |
