Saw in a another thread that 6 month intervals may be routine between releases, and I can handle that. I just worry that if sales are poor or fall off with each new season released that we may not see the later seasons at all.
I pre-ordered season 3, and am about halfway through watching it already. I can't believe how good Simon and Simon [still] is. Truly a timeless show, even if the styles, cars and other pop culture depicted are a bit dated.
I would also like to compliment Shout Factory on doing a first rate job on the release of seasons 2 and 3. Video quality has been consistently good (considering the typical condition of 20+ year old film prints) and the packaging has been well done. Also appreciate the release on single sided discs, rather than dual-sided that have been employed by other companies for some TV on DVD releases.
Please keep 'em coming! I will most assuredly buy any and all remaining seasons of Simon & Simon released.

Was also great seeing the Whiz Kids in action. I agree with the single-sided discs and the slim cases - this should be industry norm. |

Just hope that with it being a exclusive that we don't end up with a 75 or 80% collection. I know they say that the retailers don't want to carry older tv series, but season 4 was carried at retail at Borders and Best Buy's website had it and sold out in the first week. Anyway thanks Shout Factory for sticking with it so far! |
