TRANSFORMERS SOUNDTRACK

The Audio
We chucked the Rhino audio. You will no longer hear additional sound effects or music, not previously heard in the broadcasts. We went back to the original source mono and created a nice stereo track to even out the audio. It sounds really nice.

Hi, I am glad that Transformers get a such a good treatment, but I would like asked if there are any plans for realising soundtrack with scores by Rob.J. Walsh and Johnny Douglas(also with song by Anne Bryant and Ford Kinder). There is massive fan base and I think everybody Transformers fan also like Tv series scores. It will be great to have some kind of box set for Transformers music.

I once contacted Robert Walsh through his website to ask about that. For several years his site's News page had been saying releases of Transformers and G.I. Joe (along with other Sunbow productions, like Inhumanoids annd My Little Pony) would be available "Coming This Summer!" When I emailed him a few years ago, he said he was still working on putting them together and that he hoped they'd be out soon. Since then, he's never replied to subsequent emails. :(

But the latest I've heard from other people is that (as of last summer or earlier this year), he's still in the process of remastering and remixing the music, and there may also be some rights issues that he's dealing with. Basically, he knows the audience for this music is out there and he's doing everything he can to get them released; it's just proving to be a long and complicated journey. I'm sure we'll see them eventually, though. I've longed for a G.I. Joe soundtrack. :)
