I totally agree with Preppy! MGM owns this baby right now, so as long as Shout! is licensing stuff from them, I hope they can get this Hammer classic out on Region 1 DVD, as well as TWINS OF EVIL and HANDS OF THE RIPPER. MGM has new HD transfers ready to go!

I am thrilled to see another fan of Vampire Circus respond to this thread!!  This movie is LONG overdue for a Region 1 release here in North America.  My hope is since MGM has not released it on Region 1 to date, that Shout! Factory can utilize their relationship with MGM, license this film and release it for the thousands of fans in the U.S. who are still waiting.   

Yeah, I am a huge Hammer fan, and CIRCUS is a fave. I even got to show a 35mm print of it at the drive-in movie fest I organize, but it of course was the U.S. PG version. I'm sure MGM's new transfer of CIRCUS looks great; I did catch some of their HD transfer of TWINS OF EVIL when it was on (the now defunct) Monster HD last year, and it looked too stunning for words, much better than the other-region discs out there (yio. The MGM owned Hammer films are just crying for a DVD release, and with the transfers ready to go, I hope Shout! can come to the rescuue.
