| About the authoring of SHOUT! DVD's, a request. |
I'd thought I'd put in a request for authoring the shows on your DVD's a certain way.
When it comes to TV shows on DVD where there are multiple episodes on one disc and a play all option, they are authored in one of a couple ways.
1. The separate episodes have their own title track and in "play all" the episodes have their own title track where all the episodes are in one chunk (for instance the title track plays all the episodes and the running time is the combined time of all the episodes.
2. The Separate episodes have their own title track and the play all option has the episodes on individual title tracks which go from one episode to another and only show the time of the episode running, instead of all of them together. This is the authoring method that SHOUT! has used on the DVD sets I got.
But I prefer authoring method number one, because when I am playing all of a disc I can easily put it on repeat title when I am working, doing chores, etc.
My request is that SHOUT author TV show titles to play all the episodes as one entire title track when "play all" is selected. |
