Factory has already acquired the DVD rights to "Thirty SomeThing" and "My So-Called Life," I'm wondering if the company could also secure a deal for "Once and Again." Unfortunately, only the first two seasons of the show made it to store shelves and I'd still love get my hands on the third and final season of this critically-acclaimed series:) |

I really hope that the third season makes it to DVD someday. It seems Shout! has had success with the releases of other shows created by the same group of people, so maybe we can get some word on Once & Again. |

The third season was ready to go with commentaries recorded and probably other bonuses as well and then the release was canceled. This was an amazing show that had, and still has, a loyal fan following. |

It's such a shame this series wasn't completed on DVD... so close! I'm afraid this means another company may be reluctant to get the rights because they figure people wouldn't want to buy the first 2 seasons over again... and it may not be worth their while to license the whole series and then only release season 3 so we can complete our collections. (Is it possible to license only one season of a show, or do you have to pay for the whole thing?)
If it's the only way to get the last season on DVD, I'd be willing to buy the first 2 over again. Especially if Shout did it, 'cause I know they'd do a great job and probably arrange for new cast interviews/commentaries for those earlier episodes. Might be best to sell Once and Again as a complete series set from the get-go, to reassure customers who could be reluctant to re-purchase the first 2 and wait for the third (afraid they'll get burned and be stuck with another incomplete release - of course those who are familiar with Shout Factory's history wouldn't worry because you guys don't leave fans hanging like that. :)) |
