ABC Weekend Specials
I loved watching this series in the 1980s. It ran for 15 seasons on Saturday mornings. There were a lot of great mini-movies for kids. Parents would love to share this with their children.

RE: ABC Weekend Specials
I remember the weekend specials. I think every kid that watched them had certain favorites. I would really like to watch these with my boys!

RE: ABC Weekend Specials
I began a similar thread about the ABC Weekend and the Afterschool Specials.  David Lambert from TVShowsOnDVD stated that getting the ABC Weekend Specials series on DVD would likely be a rights nightmare, due to the fact that there were numerous production companies submitting stories to serve as episodes, not one company producing every episode.  Sounds bleak, but I still haven't lost hope that a company will be brave enough to tackle releasing the entire series on DVD.
