Up over and gone!

Hey, all! I'm new here and a big big big time sonic fan. Brian, I know you must be getting tired of this, but thank you so much for SatAM. I ordered it ages ago, it was sent a while back, but cos I live in England, it still isn't here yet, every day I'm taunted by the postman who doesn't bring it....... Oh well, great news about A.O.S.T.H That's the show I grew up on. As stated before there is a complete set with all the episodes (Minus Christmas Blast) being released in England, and while a good friend of mine may buy that set - I'm sure I can convince him overwise, as I'll be in the good old U.S of A 3 days after this set is released- It looks like crap and doesn't have any features, and I think its made by the same numnuts who did the Sonic Underground set, and didn't even put the episodes in order, I mean for Christ sake's "Beginnings - Part 1" the very first episode was on disc 7.

Anyway, basically want I'm trying to say is, what kind of extra's will be on it so I know I won't make the wrong decision in buying it - ah hell, even if it has none I'll still get the Shout! version. Even though it's been said, more interviews would be great, the Sonic Sez segments are a MUST, so so so so very funny, I actually have an mp3 of the "Rape" one that I have on my iPod, and that unaired pilot sounds way past cool.(That never sounds cool when I say it) Also will "Christmas Blast" be on the set? As it isn't on the Region 2 disc.

Thanks a lot, sorry for the long and boring post.

SO tired of it!  *keep it coming, keep it coming*

To answer your question about bonus material, we're looking at two items of particular interest: an interview with the artist responsible for the design of AoSTH's Robotnik and storyboards-- Milton Knight-- and then there's a How-to-Draw Sonic the Hedgehog featurette!

Look for similiar How-to-Draw featurettes on later releases!

That sounds great! As A.O.S.T.H Robotnik was always my favourite. It may be too early to say, but any news on a cover? And will the "Sonic Sez" segments be in tact?

Well, they ARE a part of the episodes, so YES! The Sonic Sez Segments will be a part of the DVDs, too. Isn't that right, Brian?

I know you said you'd been to the vaults Brain and said there wasn't any art, how about storyboards? Do Dic own the rights to the unaired pilot? Or would you save those for volumes 2 and 3?

I think it would be very nice to have a tribute to Long John Baltry as a special feature. He was the voice of Robotnik and he was quite good with it! He always sounded like he was milking the role for all it was worth. So hilariously over the top with it. "I HATE THAT HEDGEHOG!" I think he was the best thing about AOSTH. Hearing his villainous rants never ceased to make me laugh. Sadly, he passed away just last year. It would be wonderful to honor his memory on this DVD set.

I too, hope the Sonic Says segments will be intact.

Question: Will the episodes Sonic Breakout, Lovesick Sonic, and Super special Sonic search and Smash Squad be on the set?

Last Question: When will the cover art be released to the internet?

Sorry, I just couldn't resist saying that, since Scratch himself thought he was Edgar Eagle in "Blank-Headed Eagle!"

RE: Up over and gone!
I was just curious...this is the confirmed episode list for volume 1, right, Brian? Wanted to be completely sure before I disposed of my VHS tapes, especially with no guarantee that there will be a volume 2 (though I'm sure there will be, it's better to be safe than sorry).
