That's one that I'd buy the complete series of, but probably not buy season by season. Sadly, as more shows stall out after the release of a season or 2, I become less & less likely to buy individual seasons of anything. |

Member since: 2/10/2009 | | RE: Growing Pains and Just the Ten of Us | | im a big fan of both shows my self i use to see just the ten of us on usa years ago i also bought the seasons 1 of growing pains long long ago warner bros owns those i believe they are starting there own manufacture on demand service so maybe shows with less interest or something they would not release will now see the light of day we hope i agree i hate season by season releases i look forward to more complete series i use to wait untill 3 or 4 seasons are released so i could have a bunch to watch companys have a potentional money makers but dont use it wisely |

Just the Ten of Us was/is one of my favorite sitcoms from the 80s and easily my favorite of the ABC sitcoms (sorry Mr. Belvedere). I'd love to see a complete series box (season one was only about four episodes if memory serves) |

Season 1 was a pretty decent disc set. The main cast all participated in a reunion around a campfire (kinda random, lol), so I wonder what kind of extras we could have seen on other sets.
I would also buy Just the Ten of Us. It only had 3 seasons consisting of 4, 20 and 23 episodes, so I could see another one of those great Season 1& 2 combo sets that Shout Factory is good at. |

I've seen some episodes recently and the series used a lot of new (well, new for 1989-1990) and old songs in episodes that probably couldn't be removed or re-dubbed. Aside from that, I believe the show is owned by Warner Bros. and they're quite notorious for not releasing what the fans want or if they do, they stop releasing the series in full for whatever reason. I really do hope Shout! tries to get the rights to this show because it would be an awesome release. |

In my opinion WB is the worst when it comes to TV on DVD. They have a lot of shows that didn't make it past seaosn one and they have never licensed out their shows. As much as I would love to see more Growing Pains & a complete series set of Just The Ten Of Us, I highly doubt it will ever happen.
Please bring "Starman" the 1986-87 tv series to DVD.
Please bring Gimme A Break seasons 2 & beyond to DVD.
Please bring Silver Spoons seasons 2 & beyond to DVD. |
