From what i know Shout through Sony, or now Vivenda owns the rights to GI Joe yes? I mean 3 box sets were released from Rhino(basically the old Shout) through Sony etc. and never fineshed cause Rhino went under or w/e. Shout needs to re-release and finesh all the GI Joe cartoons....take a look on Ebay, those 3 old dvd box sets of GI Joe from Rhino go for upwards of $55-60 a box set now because they basically the only way to get them, and you cant buy them in stores anymore.....a lot of people want GI Joe, it was the benchmark for all 80's cartoons, its classic, please consider releasing it.
Well, since Sony Wonder is going to re-release the original Transformers series later this year (To coincide with the release of the live-action movie that’s coming out this summer! ) They might be re-release GI Joe in the future. Doesn’t Sony own the rights to it now just like the do with Transformers?
can you give any info concerning if Shout/Vivenda is going to put out GI Joe on dvd? When Rhino put the 3 box sets out years ago and didnt finesh because of being bought out or w/e, did the rights for it shift to Shout/Sony Wonder? Thanks
