Turtles Forever
I don't know if Funi is going to relase Turtles Forever or not. It's the new Direct to Video special that just played at the comicon last night, it's sure to be a money maker. If Funi backs down, I'd love to see Shout! release this too.

FuniMation no longer holds the license to release any Turtles related material (and hasn't for some time).  Whoever picks up the license will likely do so, which will hopefully be Shout but nothing's been confirmed yet.

Nope.  Still looking into it.  May be a while.

EDIT: I should note that Shout! Factory is NOT in talks with 4Kids or anyone else at this time.  We are not pursuing the Turtles right now.

Do I want Turtles Forever on dvd? Hell ya I do! It's gonna be great when all of us fans who couldnt attend comic con get to watch this love letter to the fans....and It's a good way of exposing newcomers to all the versions of the turtles....Showing them they have more then one side..maybe we should call them teenage mutant chameleon instead....

BUT

What I want even more, is for the completed seasons 3 and 4 to be released by someone. It will be such a shame if they stop releasing the completed seasons, like they've been doing in 2 parts a seasons lately. I'm dying to pick up season 3 and 4. Dying!

I too would like to see Shout! release 2K3 on DVD. However I would want them to start over and do it right this time. Give the series the Shout! touch with loads of bonus features like creator interviews, voice cast interviews, peter laird commentary, etc. Peter has posted the poster for Turtles Forever on his blog, check it out here. I really hope that Shout! will purchase the rights from 4kids. The Turtles property is as popular as ever and what a great way to usher in the 25th Anniversary than to join forces with Shout!

I agree with just about everyone here. I really hope Shout is able to put out both the Turtles Forever movie, plus all unreleased season sets of the 2K3 show (in the U.S.). My wish list is for all of season 3, the first half of season 4 and BTTS. I'm a lock for buying all these when they come out!   Please, please please get these released!

I would prefer to have the same format as have been put out previously (half season sets) but if they just put it all out in one shot (whole season sets or more) I wouldn't mind either. Just hopefully they will all get collected on dvd and in proper order!

Finally, people are able to see WHY Shout! Factory wasn't responsible for releasing the series.  Notice: It went to a big studio with a ton of money and included merchandising rights.  Not exactly Shout! Factory's wheelhouse.

Given Shout's current working relationship with Nickelodeon, I feel it's worth a shot to ask for a special collector's edition of Turtles Forever. The USA region 1 DVD release only featured the edited-for-TV version of the film in non-anamorphic widescreen, but the more recent UK PAL region 2 DVD release had the full length "director's cut" version in anamorphic widescreen, and it looks it the full version will also be released on DVD in Australia. I would love to see Shout release the full version on DVD, and also on Blu-ray Disc (this film was produced in High-Def), and maybe include some bonus features, like animatics and maybe interviews/commentaries from cast and crew members.

I was thinking the same thing.  With Shout's current working relationship with Nick, I'm hoping it will be a possible "foot in the door" opportunity (ala how things went with Hasbro, which is totally awesome to the max!) for proper TMNT releases down the line.  Both shows were left in limbo with only a few volumes left to be released to finish 'em both off...would LOVE to see the Turtles get the deluxe Shout Factory treatment!  Fingers (and toes and spleens) crossed!

Tennessee Tuxedo and his Tales: The Complete Collection
MoreTennessee, a wise-cracking penguin, and his dimwitted pal Chumley resided in the Megalopolis Zoo, where they were constantly scheming against zookeeper Stanley Livingston and his assistant Flunky in an attempt to raise the quality of zoo life.
