I dont know how Shout would do it, but i know how BCI did it, my brother when buying the He-man dvd vols., on two different vols they both had a defective disc, like one episode or so from each wouldnt play, and all my bro did was e-mail them and they sent him a new disc that was it, he didnt have to give a serial number or send in the deffective disc or anything, hopefully it will be like that.

Okay, guys...

I've got some good and bad news.  The good (which I think is actually GREAT news) is that the replacement discs are in and ready to be shipped out.  I've personally watched one and can vouch that the problem with "Queen of the Apes" has been corrected.

The bad news is that we cannot supply envelopes (ala the Superman set from WB) for to mail your DVDs in.

 I am not sure if I understand correctly.....do you mean by "envelopes" , so you mean Shout cant provide the mailing envelopes to mail it back to us, or do you mean Shout cant supply the dvd case to ship it back to us? I mean for instance could we put the defective disc in a plain slim case or cd type case and send it, and then they will put the new disc in the case we sent and send it back to us. Basically are you talking about mailing/postage envelope or dvd holder? thanks

There is no deadline.  The discs are here when you want them.

As for the "envelope," we can't be responsible for paying shipping.  It's unfortunate, but true.  You can send the disc back sans jewel case or amaray.  No need for it.  We'll be sending ours back to you in a protective envelope.

I think he is just saying to mail it to him, not that you have to pay for the materials to send it back in.  You pay to send the old dvd there, they pay to send the new dvd to you. 

I hope they put them in hard cases like BCI because my mail man loves to bend packages.

That's precisely what I'm saying: you pay to get it here and we'll pay to get it back.  Not sure what the situation is on whether or not it'll be hard cases or paper.

hi, I was wondering if the replacement disc's of captain n are still available. I just found out that there were some made. My brother and I had bout the set about a year ago and never knew that there were replacement discs made. We knew that the one episode was missing minutes but didn't think that something would be done until my brother bought he-man vol. 1 and it had the same problem but we found out that they had replacement discs. Please let me know I can't wait to see the full episode.
