Jake 2.0
This show ran on UPN in 2003-2004 and one of the writers of "The Middleman" actually wrote for this show as well.  It also starred Christopher Gorham (Recent star of "Hapers Island" and "Ugly Betty) which would work as a great way to help sell sets.  Keegan Connor Tracy was also a recurring charecter on Battlestar Galactica.  The show ran for 16 episodes and the show "Chuck" is very similar to it.

Thank you very much for taking a look at this.

We looked at this one for a while, but we just didn't see there being enough of an audience for it.  Our research wasn't turning up positive numbers.

Were we wrong?  Post here.

Their is still a large fan base for Jake 2.0 and I just posted on several forums to raise knowledge of the possibility of Shout Factory being interested in it.

And as I said, two of the show stars are in very popular shows so this will very much help sales of sets, but only for so long, so now would be the best time.

RE: Jake 2.0

I'm surprised to hear that Brian, especially considering that "Jake 2.0" is ranked #45 on TVShowsOnDVD with 1,691 votes. ;)

I'm dying to see a music-intact complete series set from Shout.

It's only been re run frequently on Sci Fi (Now SyFy) recently so that will most certainly help sales.

Here are actually pictures from the campaign to get it on DVD.

Here is an interview with Javier Grillo-Marxuach (One of the creators of the Middleman) about Jake 2.0

Oh, wow... Using my love of The Middleman and friendship with Javi against me.  Well done, sir.  Well done.  The case file has officially been re-opened.  I'll take it to acquisitions to see what they think.  But no promises.

I would buy it in a heartbeat.

"God chose those whom the world considers absurd to shame the wise; he singled out the weak of the world to shame the strong. He chose the world's lowborn and despised, those who count for nothing, to reduce to nothing those who were something." (1 Cor. 1: 27,28)

Also, if you do end up releasing this show it would be great if you could add this feature they had on tech tv about the show

I just recently began rewatching Jake 2.0 on Syfy and pulling out my old VHS of the show. It's awesome! I would certainly buy it if it came on on DVD

I loved this show when it first came on, and always swore I'd buy the DVD if it was ever released.  Now, perhaps, that time is finally coming.

RE: Jake 2.0
Oh yeah, I would totally buy this. I remember it airing really late at night on a local channel (I think that channel must have played UPN shows after a certain time) and I would stay up much later than I should've so I could watch it. I've been periodically checking to see if it's been made available on DVD. My tv-on-dvd collection will never be complete without Jake 2.0!
