Good, good, good. Thank you for that very welcomed news, Brian. I can't tell you how much I've been enjoying these sets that Shout is putting out. I had fond memories of the show from watching them in reruns as a kid in the 70's and then again as a teen in the early 80's, but I couldn't remember seeing them consistently since that time. The show really holds up well and now I'm able to enjoy it with my own kids!

Thanks again for releasing this series, Shout Factory! Can't wait for Season 4 and I hope we see it early next year.

Brian, it's been a couple of months since you commented on this series. I know you said nothing was coming for the remainder of this year since your dance card was full (and understandably so with many great sets). But do you have any tidbits at all about the 4th Season of FATHER KNOWS BEST coming at a certain point next year? Is it "in the hopper" so to speak, or not even really being thought about yet? Just wondering.

I would love to know if it is "in the works" so to speak too. I'm eager to buy the next set. It would be a great post-Christmas gift to myself. Or maybe Valentine's Day?

I love this show and these characters so much -- I never thought FATHER KNOWS BEST would get an official dvd release

naturally I have the 1st three seasons and love them--- so thrilled that you plan on releasing more - hopefully all seasons --

hope you might get a few more interviews with the surviving cast mates such as Billy Grey -- and maybe more from Lauren and Elinor -

Since we are a month out from the last time you posted about a potential Season 4 Brian, I'm checking in to see if you have any more updates.

Although this is the 50's board, I do want to thank you for the update last week that we can expect more Patty Duke. That's great news. Oh, and I'm anxiously awaiting my "Merry Sitcoms" dvd to arrive from Amazon. And I bought two additional copies for gifts. I'll probably buy another couple as well to give out.

I, too, would love to know if there are any updates. I'm hoping with the remaining 3 seasons they will include the remainder of "Window On Main Street" as bonus features. However, they would have to include about 3 episodes per set if this was going to be done. I'm just anxious to get the next season. Looking forward to it and the next season of Patty Duke. YAY!

Great, great news Brian! Thanks again to Shout! and all the people involved in continuing this wonderful series (as well as other classics like Mister Ed, Patty Duke Show, and the Merry Sitcoms compilation). Once more my hat is off to Shout Factory and I'll continue to support these vintage lines. As a small aside, perhaps you could pass along the one frustration from a few of the sets where syndicated prints are used. Whoever needs to be the stop gap person making sure those episodes don't sneak into the set might need a strong reminder. I know ever since Season 1 of FKB Shout has done a great job at putting only uncut prints on the dvds. Hope we see the same with this upcoming Mr. Ed set and continue to get uncut prints for Patty Duke and any other vintage releases.

Hi Guys, I'm new here on this forum but I am a lifetime lover of 50s and 60s TV sitcoms. As far as Father Knows Best Season 4, I just got off of eBay and found a vendor who says he will have this DVD set available on the official release date of March 23, 2010. That is great news to me and I want to congratulate Shout Factory on producing them. The world needs more entertainment like that these days.

I just wanted to thank Shout for the latest release of FATHER KNOWS BEST. I received Season 4 last week and have enjoyed it immensely thus far. Another quality release from the King of Classic TV on DVD - Shout! Factory. Gary "I know it's early, but I'd like to put in a request for the last 2 seasons of this series" O.

I hope work begins soon on Season 5. It would be great to have Season 5 before year's end. 2011 could be the year the show is complete on dvd. That would be such a great selling point for Shout!

So so sooooo excited about Season 5!!! This has been a tremendous year for Shout! They really have cornered the market on classic tv-on-dvd. I wonder if one of the reunion movies will find their way onto Season 5. Or would they include both on Season 6?
