The Jackson Five Cartoons

It's all over the news (even though it's a distractron from the economy-distructing Climate Change bill).. Michael Jackson has recently bit the dust

So i think Shout! Factory would take this golden opportunity and FINALLY release the Jackson Five cartoons on DVD

The fans of both Michael Jackson and Jackson Five are asking for years for a DVD set of the Rankin/Bass Jackson Five cartoons and now is a perfect time, the DVD set will be a perfect way to dedicate the legacy and the memory of Michael Jackson.

Sadly, because of the recent passing, I believe this to be an absolute impossibility. No studio owning the rights to that series would be dumb enough to license it out to a third party. Secondly, I believe it's the music clearances that have held up that DVD's release for years. Can't see that getting any easier now. Brian "Know Thyself" --Thales
