I know for a fact both Ann Jillian and Gail Edwards would LOVE to see it on DVD and record commentaries. It's too bad not many people remember this show, because it's the #1 show on my DVD wish list. If It's a Living and Vega$ were released, I'd have every show I wanted on DVD. |

And as a strange note, the kitchen set was used on an episode of The Golden Girls where they went to work in a soup kitchen on Christmas. |

It would make a great retro release. Besides its fan base, I think many tv fans would pick it up simply because they have read a lot about it on message boards. |

Member since: 2/24/2009 | | RE: It's a Living / Making a Living and Empty Nest | It's a Living really has that whole Soap/Golden Girls vibe going on and it's still my #1 show of unreleased TV on DVD (of which the list has gotten MUCH shorter the last 2 years, thanks to Shout and MPI).
It's a Living, Dobie Gillis, Phyllis, Eight is Enough, 5 Mrs. Buchanans and Delta are the only shows I'm still waiting on.
BTW I'd buy any season sets of Empty Nest, too. |
